Great battle report. Loved the battlefield. Never seen you roll so many 1s and 2s to wound. Think you need to embrace the range and upgrade those fusion blasters to something else. Plasma if you want to play safe or hazardous CIBs for raw damage (I prefer a mix of the two). The extra range, double on the plasma, over the fusion really helps. Don't worry about the missed upload, family, particularly a young one, comes first. It's just always a please to see your vids come up in my feed.

Thank you! The fusion range dropping has been a big hit. I think I am going to lean more into plasma going forward.

As a guard player I can not help but feel bad about those wound rolls into the thunderbolt - we are no stranger to dice curses.

Your Battle report are so far my favorite on youtube, like the raw style, also that you are explaining in great detail in what you're doing. It helps a beginner like me understand the game easier. Also those T'au look amazing, you made me decide they're gonna be my first ever army! Great job and keep up the good work! Cheers from Hungary

Nice battle with the greater good old taus. I really love the minis you both place there, specially those ultranerfed cannons :) Now the comment: Infantry is a great punching bag in this edition after the logical devast wound nerf, BUT a good gostkill spam and some Flammencrisis and you really burn at least a 110% of a guard list. I can assure you, i suffered all this tau napalm.

I enjoy your battle reports. I would like to see a point tracker of some type that would show me where you both stand in points, turn, CP's etc in each round. Something simple on the table, even a legible notecard would do.

Great content. As a wannabee T’au player my takeways are : broadside heavy rail rife is good, other loadout is meh; crisis loadout from the tyranid game felt way better; riptide doesn’t seem very lethal; infantry is shooting nerf guns; flyer coming in on turn 2 can still impact the game, so maybe eliminating flyers from the lists is stupid;

Thank you! The high-yield missile pods are not great on the broadsides anymore. Two less shots and worse AP make for an underwhelming weapon. I am also playing my Fire Warriors like it is 9th. In 9th one or two squads could easily take out a light vehicle. Not the case any more. I don't think it's a bad thing, but I need to adapt my use of infantry to better align with their roll in 10th.

Can you try to do a 1500 point list of space marines first born only?

Well, the company that made it when I bought it is no longer producing it, but I believe a company called Tyme Again is now making it.

I think that the first attack with the broadside the walker shouldn't have had cover because the guiding unit has the markerlight keyword.

I just did it wrong. I was thinking it gave reroll ones to wound rather than hits.

Tau need a new detachment! The current one is just not good . Plus,some bad rolls by the Tau at key moments.
