Yes. The last I new about the cost it was around $36,000 but I'm not sure what it is today.

Hey Taylor! I thought you looked familiar! We instructed together at Westwind back in 2018. I am starting my Hondajet type rating tomorrow!

So... let me get this straight. Your friend hooks you up with his buddy at the charter firm he works for. (lots of missing data right here) and magically you're hired with only 1000 hours of light piston single engine time????? Very few hours in light twins, NO turbine time, NO complex time. You're a flight instructor right? Do you have you instrument ticket? Your commercial ticket? Hey good for you for winning the pilot lottery, but I just HATE these kind of stories where so much critical information and explanation is simply ignored. So this charter outfit is paying for your type rating training? And your only qualification is a 1000 hour flight instructor? Am I missing something here? So did you have to sign some agreement to work for them for the next 5 years minimum so they get their money back out of you?? Indentured servant ??? They paying you like $15 / hour - flight time only??? Quit watching about 6 minutes in. Again congrats on your job for life. Just next time you make a utube video on how you went from low time to the big time, Fill in some details. SMH

Sorry you miss heard I think. I had 4000 total time with around 750 multi. Also to be a flight instructor you must have an instrument and commercial it’s part of the prerequisites to the certificate. It’s totally possible to build connections and receive opportunities particularly in this market. Hope it helps.
