Nice man! Im in california so i can only have as dark as 70% on my front two windows. I think the back can be as dark as I want

Looks nice, never understood why the red emblems are Type R specific while SI, SI-R and Type S etc. weren’t included.

Looks good man. You would think with the pegs on the back of the new emblem, it would slide into the holes and be straight. I will keep an eye out for that on mine

Mine had the emblem before but water got inside and quickly degraded the inside. Got a brand new set of emblems but before installation g made them water proof by putting some black silicone sealant on the edge before removing the glue protector so far so good no sign of water getting in. I recommend it.

I’m not trying to fool anyone into thinking this is a Type R. People have been putting these emblems on their SIs for years, and I did it just for the sake of creating content and looks. CALM DOWN

I also want to put that honeycomb look in the front grill, that area around the fog lights, I know prob can't cut out cause if the sensors on the left I don't like the flat blah area,I'm going to think of something

I was thinking of wrapping the badges in matte black. I’ve got the Civic Hatch

I think to do it without damaging anything you would have to dismount the emblem from the engine side, you need to open the cover thats under the hood above intercooler and then take it off

If you use a heat gun or hair dryer or even park into the sun to heat up the adhesive it comes off very easy 👍

If i have a 10th gen si sedan do i get 2 fronts or 2 backs or 1 of each?

I bought OEM black lugs, black wheel locks, and Type R center caps for my 2017 coupe a few weeks ago. Dealer will want 80 for the locks, 45$ per 4 pack of lugs, and 25$ per wheel center caps. Center caps look very good on the 17-19 Si wheels because they have gloss black around the cap to match. I don’t know if I’d do it with the 20 wheels. My dealer gives me 20% off on all accessory parts i buy from them, because they know I’ll be back for more. Makes me feel better though.

Hey Cameron you need to do led lights in the interior and trunk!! Did them in my 2015 si and what a difference it made...I got the kit at college hills honda online👍

Love the red emblems on the SI...should've come that way from the factory. Why save ALL of the cool stuff for the Type R??!!

I raced an 8th gen Si in my sport hatch and I ended up with a few paint chips from rocks bouncing up🙃

On my SI I’m going too pink mine out,same pink as interior trim,I will pop front and back and and paint.Question Cameron,can I pop out the trim around the steering wheel,and above the glove box trim? I did the other but wasn’t sure

yes you can pop those out and replace them or paint them. They even sell kits online I believe. I know what you're talking about, the silver/grey trim pieces?

I really like the car OVERALL and recommend it to anyone looking for a zippy daily driver with awesome bang for your buck. The Honda sensing features you can turn off, but the only one that you have to turn off every time you start the car is Collision Mitigation Braking System. I like the car man

The emblems have clips on the back. Remove the clips and they slide right off. Then put on Black Chrome emblems.

I sell these OEM on FB market place for ppl north of the boarder i got 3x left Fits all civics front and rear , hatch need the R for the rear

@@Camhill182 Not OP, but it's pretty standard adhesive. Would be easy to re-apply, but I just throw the letters in a drawer and let the dealership deal with it.

Mine arrived yesterday ( Oct 2020) in completely different packaging and some very obvious imperfections. Looks like I'll be going to honda to get some OEM ones. The front emblem is the same size on the sedan and coupe. On the sedan, however, the rear emblem is slightly smaller

These are not jdm. They sell them in the US now that we have the type r. None the less i like the videos. Great car.

I see a lot of people doing this to their non-Type R Hondas and PERSONALLY I think doing this is equivalent to putting M badges and stickers on a non-Msport BMW . It kinda feels pretentious but you do you man. I love seeing the progress on your car. Keep it up!

People have been putting these emblems on their si models for years, way before the Type R came to North America, so I do it for the looks. Im obviously not fooling anyone into thinking its a Type R

For me, the M badge is equivalent to the badge that actually says Type R on it. The red emblems are acceptable.
