Tyler1 Has Done It Again
Ойындар
Well -- he’s done it again. Tyler1 reached the top 0.5% of rapid chess players on chess.com this week with a rating of over 1900 ELO.
When you translate that into an official FIDE rating - Tyler might be slowly approaching the level of a Chess Master - less than a year after he first started playing.
Even doubters like Hikaru are acknowledging that Tyler may be part of a transformation of this 1500 year old game that nobody could have predicted…

@@adg9042 Sorry for the wall of text - Is not only that. Chess in most places is now harder to get into in the one hand, because video games have become widely and easily available, and is the easy to go thing for kids, but also what was explained in the video. The tools to improve in chess for those who wish to do so are the best and also easily available for everyone. Most of the time. For example, in League, most people are unable to reach Tyler's level because of ego/arrogance, and blaming others on your mistakes, even if you can't control all matches. That or just because it's easier/faster to one trick or abuse what is OP rather than playing and learning through the fundamentals of the game that can make you good with multiple champions/roles. Abusing strong picks IS still a good thing to do. On chess, you can't blame others for your mistakes, and most of it revolves around the fundamentals, so the potential to improve for someone who wants to do so is much higher. Of course, you have special cases of people who will reach higher highs than others.

This man is an icon !!!!!!!
Tyler1 is the definition of just built different
The indomitable human spirit
love this guy !
T1 brute forcing anything he is doing what a freaking mad lad as always.
5:07 Hikaru showing his true colors. This dude is a 12 year old mean girl in spirit.
I love that tyler loves to grind chess because its one of the few game he can play while caring for his baby 😢
I would pay to see Tyler trash talk other players in real life, they would fold for sure
I would really like to see Magnus vs Tyler
Tyler1 is amazing in that he can see any inaccuracy of his opponent and exploit it. This is a core tenement of LoL and he uses it to great advantage in Chess. I hope he changes the game forever!
thats wild
He's at 1950 now. Master incoming
Imagine if he actually achieved the rating of master. 🤯
it would be cool to see magnus do blindfold chess with tyler1
5 Role Challenger, And soon to be magnus Big Tonka T
It's simple Tyler is a grinder, once he says he's going to do something he'll do it. I doubted Tyler in the past, and I've learned my lesson.
this is actually insane, I TRIED THE COW AND STILL DIDNT GET OVER 50% winrate...
