That still happens to me with tøp songs today, even though I've been listening to them for mutliple years. It happened today with Drown, and it happened last week at the concert with Trees. I don't even know how it manages to not quite connect to the lyrics until a certain point, and then BAM (by it I mean your soul lol).

Now that i know the real story of the Kitchen Sink, i really connect to that song every time i hear it. I love it.

I'm only 13. I've been abused 2 times, been bullied all of my life by multiple people, my dad was in the army and deployed multiple times, I've been abandoned and lost. I've been listening to this album ever since I was 10 and I would have been dead along time ago if it weren't for Tyler. It feels good to know that someone is falling to. |-/

I think it’s about how when you’re in a bad place, you feel so alone, so goddamn alone, that you would give anything to hear someone else say they are going through the same thing.

i’m so grateful for this song. it’s so beautiful. this is gonna sound stupid but about a year ago i went through a bad breakup. i was left broken and insecure. and felt rather unloved. i would always play falling too on repeat. this song, taken by sleep, most twenty one pilot songs, some all time low songs, gnash songs and some cyberbully mom club songs, they were all that got me through it. but falling too was the main thing that helped me through the pain. music speaks a lot of what we’re all thinking and yeah i’ve always been able to find either a npi song or any other tøp song that can always relate and manage to help. i’m so grateful to you tyler and josh. thankyou for always being here for us all. each song all means something different to everyone, and idk i find that beautiful. but yeah just thankyou sm for helping us all through our problems and struggles. i’ll keep going for you tyler and josh :) 💛 ||-//

It's past midnight. I've known about this song for a long time, ever since I heard about No Phun Intended. I'm finally making myself listen to it. This is the last song that I am aware of by twenty one pilots or Tyler Joseph. I've heard every song on every album, the rest of this album, I've heard songs that Tyler was featured in years ago, I've heard Two and I Need Something and unnamed demo tracks. I've heard it all. Except this. I don't want to lose the sense of excitement, of amazement, the realization that at least someone in this world understands. That feeling that only comes to me when I listen to a song by Tyler Joseph for the first time. I don't want to lose that beautifulness forever. Listening to a song by Tyler Joseph for the first time is magical. This time, the magic will be bittersweet. This time, the magic will be final.

It’s insane how 5 years ago I was struggling the same as I am now but I found these songs three years ago, and they help me through so much. It’s just proven that The CliQue isnt just annoying teens, we are broken and we found safety in this man who went through what we are going through.

A few months ago I got my best friend into Twenty One Pilots and I'm so happy I did, she said they really helped her, but at one time last month she sent me a text saying how she was crying while listening to this song because it reminded her of me, she said something along the lines of how I look and seem so happy all of the time but I honestly am not happy in any way, and she knows this, I act all happy and stuff all the time but she knows what I've dont to myself and why I listen to this band all the time.
