I sing a lot of their song word for word

This is was my very first twenty one pilots song I heard. I instantly fell in love with it. I'm somewhat new to the band, as I have only been a fan for about 4 months now. I know all the lyrics to every song on Vessel. I was so excited once Blurryface came out. After listening to Blurryface non-stop for the past three weeks, I can say that twenty one pilots is my new favorite band. I honestly have not seen a better fan base for than the twenty one pilots fan base. Everyone is so supportive in their music, and like them no matter what. I see no hate comments about them. Not only that, but everybody feels like I do, like all their songs are perfect. Ironically, we still listen to them since even Tyler said “Don't trust a perfect person, and don't trust a song that's flawless."

Welcome to the fandom. I've been a fan for a few years now, and I still remember when they had barely a million view on this video. Wow. What I love about the fan base is that everyone is very welcoming to new members. There are no ranks based on how long you've liked them. If you like them, you like them. I'll be honest, I was sad at first to see so many new people joining because I liked how small and intimate and personal it felt to have a smaller fan base, but now my outlook has changed. New fans are able to give their impressions of the music and music videos meanings. We are able to feel included in something. This song means so much to me. And I'm glad that Tyler's lyrics and Josh's beats have been able to reach a higher potential and make more people feel worth something. We forget how powerful bands and artists and music in general can be until its affected us so greatly. So, once again, welcome to the fan base, and I hope you continue with us for the whole ride.

everWho Well, that's good to hear, because they will be playing big arenas soon enough. Their music is authentic, original and anthemic in a way that very few recent bands are, and touches people at the core in profound ways. When he screams, “Now I just sit in silence.” While the crowd goes nuts is just something I can’t put words into. A whole plethora of people just understanding is something so beautiful but so melancholic at the same time. Felt. I’ll never forget when I had my mental breakdown at that part. Just hits home.

You can just hear the pain in his voice... Hopefully he's overcome it and is happy where he is at now.

That's what I believe he's done. I believe he's overcome that depression and he's better, and.. I don't know. twenty one pilots is a band about depression and helping others that are struggling with depression. And, it's hard to believe someone when you have depression, if they are telling you that you're not alone. For twenty one pilots, you can hear it just in his voice and his movements. And I think he's better now, and that's what I don't like. I'm not saying he was better being depressed, I'm just saying I feel like I've lost a connection to his music.

I used to love tøp and adore the hidden meanings behind each song. I didn't always understand it but where intrigued by them. But you soon realize the moment you start going insane, the moment your sanity fades away, the moment your anxiety and depression hit you and bring you down so hard, you start to understand every word of their songs. I know they'll never see this but I love this band so much because they've been through all the anxiety and pressure and depression, yet they take so much time and effort devoted to us, the fans, the clique. They always have a smile on their face. There's not ONE word that describes how thankful I am for Tyler and Josh being alive. In the past I'd be willing to end it all right here but they want all of us to stay alive, and that's what I'm striving to do for the rest of my life as long as twenty øne piløts keep performing and making music. I feel the same way. Sometimes I feel crazy because of how insanely depressed and unhappy I can get, not necessarily by bad things that happen to me, but how my brain reacts to it. Ex: one stupid thing is said to me and all of a sudden I can't control how out of control I feel. My brain is stabbing my heart, telling me how worthless I am. But it's songs like these that help me stay positive. It's bands like Twenty One Pilots that inspire me to inspire others and love my self regardless of what is said it done to me, and motivate me to find and live for my purpose.

The "literal" theft of his car radio seems like a metaphysical manifestation to me. Soul grew, understood depression and anxiety came from clouded, egoic thought patterns, decided spiritually that he'd address this... This song is "about" whatever you take from it. That's infinite for you. For ME, this song symbolizes going inside of yourself and recognizing that your car radio (or egoic consciousness) is distracting you, masking what is real. Often, when we first realize a great spiritual truth, it appears as though the truth was revealed by some deity or higher self (the somebody who stole my car radio). Whether or not you're able to see yourself in that deity is dependent on how far along the path you are, although it doesn't really matter because you're where you should be.

this song hits so much harder when you smile at the name after not having seen it for at least the last 4-5 years , digging in your lyric archives at the back of your mind , finding them by the time the words start , and singing along .. you smile slowly fading as you stare at the pages of lyrics you remember so perfectly .. but they dont look the same . they used to be the prettiest shades of blue , like the album cover .. but now they're grey . certain lines blur themselves as you mumble them , and others scratch themselves out .. " i could pull the steering wheel " comes and goes , and a teardrop hits the page . when did you start crying ? this song used to be so cool ! but now you're old enough to get what some of the deeper phrases mean ... ... " and now i just sit in silence " you scream it to match the song , then it goes quiet again .. gripping the papers you so impeccably remembered , now you just sit in silence for what seems like eternity . for those who read to the end , and at least partially understand what you just read , please heart this comment . so i know im not alone .

I was there in the front row and can concur! Before they started the song Tyler let us know what was gonna happen - had no idea we were gonna shoot a video! And he asked us to get ready at that moment and just let loose... I still get goosebumps thinking back to this or any of their concerts I went to honestly... best rush I've ever gotten being around others who love their music and relate - it's an amazing connection

When I first heard this song I was in college and felt anxious about so many things. I too fear silence because my mind will surely lead me to something deep that I don't want to deal with that time. Now 10 years later because of the pandemic I was force to be in silence that I learned how to deal with my mind. I no longer fear what is going on in my mind I just let it come and go I still struggle sometimes but as I wake up everyday , I remind myself to just observe and detach myself to what I think. The thing that I feared before became a blessing for me in a way. I pray that whoever read this will somehow see the blessings of that 'silence' in your life. Please dont do it, you have lived a completely unique life. I promise you have stories worth hearing and knowledge worth sharing. The thing that helps me the most is finding God, and I had always struggle with the faith part, how am I supposed to believe without seeing, that was always my challenge. But then I think it was muhammad ali who said that, if I told you this bottle of water made itself you wouldnt believe me you would say first the plastic had to be gathered than the machinerey had to be made to produce it so nothing in this galaxy has the pwoer to make itself. Not even the big bang, the big bang they believe was made through energy, and the conservation law of energy states energy cannot be created or destroyed, so something as powerful as God whichever religion you choose has to exist or at the bery least its agnostic and cant be proved he doesnt exist. The reason I tell you all this is because once you find him it gives you a purpose in life. You have something to try and achieve which is making it to heaven. And although the thought of death becomes less scary the thouhgt of suicde becomes less attractive, because you finally have someone to try and make proud and someone you dont want to disappoint. It seems small but these things helped me when i was in a rut and was thinking to myself whats the point of it all i wakeup work eat sleep and eating is the highlight of my day everyday. But with changing your mindset you can change you rlife. I wish you luck and i Hope everything works out truly.

Watched these guys open for fall out boy probably about a decade ago now and was absolutely amazed by them. Remember them running up in the crowd among us with these masks on its so vividly ingrained in my mind. Listened to them for a little and then time went by I kind of forgot about them. Tonight I randomly thought of them laying in bed and came to see how big they’ve gotten. It’s incredible man, and as soon as I saw this song title I remembered this is the one I always loved! Man what a trip!
