What on earth would compel someone to give this a thumbs down? Even if it's not your type of music, this guy has an amazing voice and is pouring his heart out singing a very emotional song. I pity anyone that can't appreciate that but you’ve got to be a special type of miserable asshole to give this a thumbs down.

Right up there is the second verse of Lost Dog Street Bands' song, September Doves. "My grandmother's lullabies used to sing me to sleep. I can't sleep nowadays without liquid relief. Well if lullabies were whiskey then my Grandma's drinks were cheap. I can't afford sleep anymore.
The random people In the background not realizing they’re in the presence of greatness
Dang, this song gives me chills every time I hear it. “Till they raised the cost of dreams so high I couldn’t pay.” Such good stuff.

This is my hometown. Hard to believe I just had to fight for tickets to see this kid play Red Rocks, well deserved! 💕
I'm obsessed with this man's voice so mesmerizing!! Single-handedly got me liking old school country and listening to more Bluegrass which I already liked!! Wish I could have been one of those people in the crowd so badly want to hear him in person and it looks like he's at Ritter Park which is absolutely awesome I walk there all the time!!
I wish Tyler all the best, but I hope to hell those greasy money-grubbers in Nashville keep their hands off of him. Keep it honest.

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard...brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it (and I've listened to it about 854 times, just guessing). I love this young man's voice, his songs are so real and true. He is an amazing musician.

this makes me wish i was born on a farm
Hands down my absolute favorite recording of this song
Is this the first time a country singer wore a bow tie? Well it wouldn’t have mattered. Tyler’s raw talent and emotion is on full display.
If that's not a classic country voice, I don't know what is. You can hear the emotion he sings with and pulls the emotion out of you. First time I've ever heard him. Damn, he's good!
Woooooow. I. CAN. NOT. WAIT. Sturgill & Tyler's concert. Concert of the year. : Also side note how do you not hear him and instant quit your job to be that kid's manager. Here in ATX there's tons of good talent but that's just a special voice right there.

Ritter Park is one Huntington’s seldom used gems. A great place to catch a play or concert.
Was lucky to spend a night in Huntington for work. Now the memory is a little cooler knowing this is one of the places he got his start lol.
this is the best version, something about the reverb and tone. it feels like thoughts i couldn’t think myself.

that he is, my friend
How are there people in the back ground just standing there not paying attention. I would be sitting on the ground crisscross apple sauce watching him and just mesmerized.
My brother and his friends were just looking for something to do on a slow day in Huntington when they happened to find themselves within earshot of a young Tyler Childers performing this song at an event just like this (it may very well be this day, I’m not sure). I remember him telling me the next day about finding a great local artist and how he writes songs that can make your heart stop. His agenda for that afternoon shifted to listening for as long as Tyler would continue to sing.
A kid pops in your elevator ride & smashes all the buttons & hops out kinda song. Wide range of emotion.
One of the most simplest of songs sang with an emotion that could bring any human being tears!
This is the 20th time I’ve watched this. Tyler is incredible
... so I let that car just sit there, when I should’ve took you driving; with the windows down, while the music played. I’ve always loved this song. It speaks to so many different situations besides the one type of relationship it intended. As we sit here in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I can’t help but think about all the drives we all should’ve took. God willing, when this is over, we will shut up and drive.
From one Appalachian to another and from the bottom of my heart Thank you Tyler for "carrying the flag of COUNTRY MUSIC USRT23 Country Music Podcast

I've watched this so many times, I've now turned to the crowd. How he catches folks as they walk by. Dumb struck by what just hit them. The soul knows.
