I’m new to the hobby. Your videos have been super helpful! Also I was wondering if you had any tips for me. I’m having issues with range on my tinyhawk 2 I tried this method but once the rssi hits 0 and I go the other way it doesn’t go back up. I thought maybe it was overheating so I let it cool and set up a fan blowing at it to keep it cool for the next go around. Same thing happened.

Definitely yes. You are fine tuning the radio and the receiver so the antenna is irrelevant.

Great video as usual,! I’m having fail saves breaks... I’m think in go for a Crossfire in the TX-16s, did you have some experience in TBS to share with us?

Yes, videos to come. Crossfire is a better option than modding the existing antenna as long as it is legal in your part of the world.

Had my radiomaster less than a week snd thanks to you it’s up and running sweet. Now After this video I’m thinking of taking it apart lol 😂. I would like to know if you can help ? If I update my firmware to the latest on the tx will I have to update all my receivers aswell ? Or can they stay as they are ? Cheers Steve.

Steve help please, I have a tinyhawk 2 freestyle and a t16 pro v2 what I arm the quad the sticks on the right work perfectly. But the throttle as soon as I give a little it goes like right to 100% and sticks until I disarm. On beta flight everything looks normal PLEASE HELP

Wonder why we can't choose this fine tune option in EdgeTX? Some says that the receiver is automatically tuned, but I'm not convinced. Anyone?

what if my rx doesent transmit telemetry? i wont know where to stop scrolling

I'm confused. Is this calibration for telemetry, or for actual transmitter/control of aircraft?

Why do you divide the number by 2?

I see lots of other videos showing you dont need to click the Low power mode to fine tune

does range test lower the rf power as well for the test?

How come when I go to RF Freq. fine tune tab, with the quad turned on, I have no RSSI signal at all! The RSSI stays at (0) no matter what - or + number is dialed in? It always stays at zero. Any suggestions?

i did range test on my tx16s with spektrum ar631 and it keeps failing at range of 20 feet , testing it in my driveway where ther are cars around, could that be the cause?

one should be aware that the fine tuning option depends on Rx selected....not all Rx have that option in the Radiomaster

Do you need to put the TX in low power mode when doing the fine tune? I haven't seen that in other videos.

Why don't I see that in my radiomaster tx16s. I can fine time in my radiomaster. Where are those function

I also don't see it. All I can find is that its necessary to fine tune FrSky receivers, I am using a spektrum receiver and don't get the fine tune option

LOL - Yeah, its so the quad and the radio are at the same height and stay in focus.

Or 61-34=27÷2=13.5

less than 470 meters for $270. Why would people even bother with this?
