Two years of anecdotes and images narrating the best, the worst, the curious, the fantastic, the learnings, the headaches and the beauty of every single moments of two years on the road.
In this third part we talk about travelling through South America, certainly the most diverse and surprising section of this journey in the Americas. Deserts, rainforest, mountains, salt flats, high plateaus, it never stopped to amaze us. We met countless persons and discovered countless places. We are not soon ready to forget any moment of this amazing journey.
This series already brought us to North America (part one) and Central America (part two). This is the final episode.

Hola Mathilde & Nick, thank you for taking us along on your adventure. I just returned home one week ago from my one year trip of Backpacking Latin-America. Seeing all the spectacular landscapes I have been to from a different viewpoint in your videos almost moved me to tears. I am glad I met you on the San Blas Sailing Trip where I got to know you as a very likeable and ambitious couple. Now, I am looking forward to follow your trip through Australia. I was traveling OZ myself 14 years ago in a Mitsubishi L300, so I am sure your upcoming stories will bring me lots of memories and of course also show me many unknown places. I can picture the two of you in 40 years watching this and reflecting back on what an amazing trip the two of you experienced. I often peek back at old home movies i had digitized and look back at my family going back as far as into the 40's. I've shared them with my family and now I take videos of our grandkids and they love to look at them too. It's been a delight to look back over what you've done the last few years. So much more to see as you move on to your next continent.

Hi friends, we just watched the 3 episodes on loop because we were in Mexico. When I think about the episode "Introducing the Team," what a journey on the road and what a journey in your videos. We find you super professional in capturing images and also in production. It must feel strange to find yourself in the family cocoon and to relive the millions of images and moments in your heads. I also have a technical question: what is the best GPS or the best app or the best combination for you? Thanks a thousand times in advance! Have a nice and safe ... hunker down at home 😄

As always very very good video ! I really want to do my trip on the panamerican highway even if I already done it a good part especially from Alaska to Utah. But I think it is just less than a quater of the trip ! So happy to see you in Australia and NZ with TOM maybe ?

If this is what you think about, it is an extra ferry and another border crossing into Chile for a tiny stretch of road. Most people tend to stop like us. Indeed there is more south but the Argentinian roads stop in ushuaia and it remains the symbol. but of course you can go more south you are right.

Absolutely amazing nice sound. I recommend you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place. Whenever you start a short solo trip of 4-5 days, Moses Peak is a must. It is a 5300m height۔ from the top of moses pea which you can see the views of the K2 world second highest peak in the world, Nangaparbat, K6 k11 and K 12 views in one frame. best time from May to October. This is a family tracked.its open Zone, one did not need a trekking permit or have to pay Royalty fee to climbed this Mountain tower

Loved the video. Once you get settled into Australia, would enjoy seeing a video about getting a visa. I hear it's not easy. I'd like to do Australia, but I wonder if bringing the overland rig is best or just buy/sell something there.

No we did not ! We just went home for few weeks while our car is being shipped to Australia! Actually we just got there and picking up the car soon at the port

Hello, oui on a une batterie pour la voiture et une lithium pour nos électroniques. Elles se rechargent toutes les deux quand la voiture roule et la lithium par les panneaux solaires. On a AUSSI une batterie portable qu'on recharge au panneau solaire et en roulant (prise allume cigare). On ne l'avait pas prévue à l'origine mais elle nous a été offerte et en fait on la trouve bien pratique. mais ca c'est parce que nous on a : le starlink, les ordis, les appareils photos, les drones, etc... a charger. Pour la plupart des voyageurs avec juste un ordi une camera et un telephone je pense pas que ca soit utile (on pourrait avoir que la lithium ou la portative dépendant du système choisi).

We had a long stay planned in Brazil and ended up cancelling cause we felt in three weeks (the time we had) it d have been too short anyways. We feel we want to go back with several months at the time to do all of the country. So one day we ll do it
