Great point on the types of ego lifting, and finding that middle ground that works for you. 👍 Some overly attach their ego to the amount of weight on the bar, while others overly attach their ego to how good their technique looks. I know GVS has also touched on this.

GVS is the man, I pretty much agree with everything he says haha, so not surprised he's talked on it before!

Aj, I still wonder how important time under tension is versus the total amount of reps. 10 reps with a slow concentric, 2-3 sec hold and slowl eccentric (for a total amount of 1-1¼ minute for example, where one rep equals arount 6-8 sec) *versus* 10 quicker reps with a heavier weight and a little bit of body englisch. total time around 40 sec, lets say.

Hey mate, don't overthink this too much, focus on lifting with form that feels safe for you, if you use a bit faster tempo it's probably more appropriate for higher rep ranges as you'll just be safer, lower rep ranges / higher loads, focus on more control here

Hello Aj, that last movement - are you trying to emulate more for a high bar row or pulldowns? Just curious as looks like leaning your torso back you would be driving your elbows back rather than down to the pocket of your hip? Is this still effective for lats? Thanks mate

Hey mate, this is more of an upper back pulldown, but you'll still get some lats from it (mostly upper lats)

What a kind comment Alessio, I hope you're feeling ok? PS - I've out lifted all of your conventional deadlift Pb's with better control, this is a stiff leg deadlift, not a conventional like yours :)

Anyone can say anything behind the screen lol , you never be able to say that in his face , AJ delivered as much content as he can on different platforms to help people in their training and you act like typical stereotype of dumbest meathead
