There was originally a side plot that was cut for time about Sunset wondering if she still belonged and trying to decide if it was time to go back home to Equestria. "More That's Out There" was originally a duet between Human Twi and Sunset that explores it. There's an animatic for it floating around that you should definitely watch, because it's amazing. I understand why it had to be cut, but the duet version is so fire.

Rarity made costumes for her friends even when she did not have to, Pinkie Pie brought joy and made both CHS and Crystal Prep smile and enjoy each other's company, Fluttershy showed kindness to someone who was feeling sad, AppleJack helped Sci--Twi (Human Twilight's nickname) By telling her truthful words to help her, and Rainbow Dash chose to go back and help Sunset Shimmer, risking the win for CHS. They represented the elements during those times

Definitely! The intro theme is a banger, the CHS Rally makes me nostalgic for high school marching band, ACADECA is an underrated banger that gets me pumped up, and Unleash the Magic is a perfect villain song. Not to mention the cut duet version of What More is Out There absolutely slaps.

Scoot, After you finish all Equestria girls movies, you SHOULD REALLY watch the Equestria girls series that follow the last movie!

The thing about that ending scene with our Twilight. This movie actually aired in the middle of season 5, so whenever twilight mentioned time travel, we didn’t realize that it was about the finale and that led to a lot of speculation and generated hype

The reason why rainbow dash transformed in the pep rally is because she was showing loyalty to the school, and flutter shy transformed because she was showing kindness to twilight 🙃

Seeing sunset with wings and a horn make me believe that she could have either been a princess or resembles one in this world

Genuinely I think the theory about Sunset not having a counterpart in the human world beacuse she is the bridge couldn't be more correct. When this world Twi stole her magic it closed the portal so.

The next is the last EQG movie, after that they went to an online series of mostly shorts with a few longer specials, some of which are nearly movie length.

Great parallel! Twilight is more of an analytical type and fact-knowing, and Sunset is a lot more about practice/deep understanding of a situation.

Yes, I've been waiting for your reaction to this EQG movie Scoot! EQG: Friendship Games is one of my favorites of the main 4 movies!!! One of the many things I like about this one is the songs, They are all absolute bangers! However after SciTwi came along we began to see less and less of Princess Twilight as the EQG franchise progressed. But it was still interesting to see Twilight's human counterpart. In fact you should consider watching the deleted scenes for this movie, Because while it's understandable why they weren't used in the final cut. It still makes you wonder about the things that Might've been.

Fun Fact: The cut version of There’s More That’s Out There (Dunno if that’s the actual name) is a duet of Sunset and Twilight instead of just Twilight. I honestly prefer that version than the version we got in this movie.

You should totally listen to the demo version of Unleash the Magic called Free the Magic. It's super good and feels way more manipulative than peer pressure

I love this movie. SciTwi is so cute, the songs once again slap and Midnight was so cool. I wish the fight between Midnight Sparkle and Daydream Shimmer was longer though

Me waiting patiently for Scoot to get to EQG forgotten friendship because it's got the 2 best character and the main stars of the special.

WOW. By happenstance I just finished watching Rainbow Rocks on Discovery Family not long after this reaction premiered! Oh, boy. This rival school Crystal Prep has an interesting set of characters and the debut of Sci-Twi! The human world's own Twilight is as booksmart and socially awkward as pony Twilight, but she is her own character.

Twilight's song "What More is Out There" was meant to be a distanced duet between her and Sunset and I wish it still was T^T You can still find it with the story-boarding, here on KZread. 8:40- Yes on AJ and Sunset, but why are you sleeping on Fluttershy, her fit is so cute and fits her so well XD 22:45- I still think Angel in EQG cannot be as bad as the on in Equestria, because he isn't as spoiled by Fluttershy knowing everything he means.

I'm sure a few people have mentioned it, but you don't need to wait until the end of MLP seasons to watch anymore EG stuff. This was the last one that contained any spoilers for the series.

Sunset returns at least 3 times to Equestria, so don't skip on the specials where this happens! A lot of crazy things happening in those and in the short episodes too.

It’s real cute that spike was the one to bring twilight back to her senses. Also the pure fear on Sci Twi’s face when the magic was taking over her was kind of horrifying.

My theory is that the girls don't just "pony up" when they demonstrate their element. They "pony up" when they are reminded that they do not need to. Like when fluttershy comforted twilight after the first friendship games tournament. Twilight said, " I'm on the opposing team, and you just lost. Why are you being so nice to me?" Fluttershy responds with, "You look to like you needed it." It wasn't till then that flutter shy, "ponied up." Another example is when AJ helped out twilight during the archery scene. A j tried to help, but someone reminded Twilight that she was on the opposing team, and Aj didn't care and just continued to help. And the whole squad doesn't just pony up because they play music, They pony up together because they play music together. Because they're in harmony and put aside their differencesand To create something magical for everyone else to When they pony up individually, it's not just because their expressing their unique element, It's when they are reminded that they don't have to. When they go out of their way to express their element to help people is when they pony up. And I think that that is awesome, and I can't believe it took me almost 10 years to realize this.

This movie is so different from the others and has the best plot twists out of the EG movies, the drama in it pisses me off I think the most out of all the movies but I love the intro gives me chills EVERY TIME and the teachers song sm and I remember when I was little screaming at the part when twilight and sunset fight it’s absolutely amazing, good memories with this movie 🤌💗

So, the Human Twilight has an official name among the fandom: Sci-Twi. So named because unlike the Twilight we know who is all about Magic, human Twilight is pretty much her scientific equivalent.

you need to know that there is more Equestria Girls after the Movies. it has it's own series and Specials. I'm sorry that I keep Preaching this but so far you've made it sound like you only know about the Equestria Girl Movies.

Actually. Without spoiling. This version of angel is actually a lot more sweet.

Scoot advises you to read the MLP comics from IDW, they have a higher age rating and a bunch of additional lore and stories. I just started reading them myself, but I already like them, and then there will be a lot of things there, I know at least about the infinite multiverse and the official crossover with Transformers.

I guess now I can finally mention what the original writing for this movie was supposed to be. Don't get me wrong, I do love Friendship Games but knowing the og story kind of upsets me that we didn't get it but it makes sense. 1) What More Is Out There (Sci-Twi's solo song) was meant to be a duet with Sunset. Twilight still keeps half of her lines of the song while Sunset sings about not fitting in the human world and starts feeling homesick. 2) Sci-Twi doesn't transfer to Canterlot High and Sunset goes back to Equestria in the end Apparently, Friendship Games was originally supposed to be the end of the Equestria Girls series. Not gonna lie, I'm kind of glad they continued the series cause they caught my attention after MLP was starting to lack a little bit (Season 8 I mean-)

One of my favorite movies ever. I love SciTwi so much. Probably the most relatable character in all of MLP for me.

You’re right in the wake of this event, cinch loses her position as headmistress and cadence replaces her. Also, sunset shimmer will eventually return to equestria in a later movie/special: spring breakdown. I’m not gonna say how. Also the fact that Twilight or Sci Twi, Destroyed the canterlot statue might be important later.

I'm surprised you liked Rainbow Rocks the least, in my opinion it's far and away the best EqG content out there, with Forgotten Friendship coming in second.

It really bothers me how everybody acts like Vinyl Scratch is a CANON name. Vinyl Scratch has never been officially used for the character, only in fan-made stuff and 3rd party merchandise. She's only ever officially been called DJ Pon-3.

This Twilight makes me so angry. Not just because I feel they pushed Sunset out of the spotlight with her but because of how careless she was. She saw she was draining the Human 6 and how it affected them but didn't care nor apologize until _everyone_ was put at risk. But then she wants to act like she has some moral compass when asked to spy? I won't spoil the other EG movies, but she's annoying in the next one too. The only reason the Human 6 accepts her is because she looks like their other Twilight. Had it been some random girl, they still would have forgiven her, but I doubt they'd just add her to the group. Whereas the other counterparts are still true to their pony parts, this Twilight is lesser than the princess. Pony Twi wasn't a pushover or shy or careless. She was introverted but not shy.

The friend ship remind me of the sports day at secondary man I remember I was talking to class and they suddenly looked shocked and I didn't what happened I turned around and saw the 6th year class running at us whit water balloons I got set to run and got hit then started sprinting for it and the dived in the grass a good bit away till they ran out luckily the sport ware that I was wareing (tracksuit bottoms) dry off quickly

So scoot... i know you don't want to hear anything about Spoilers but... it is kinda necessary for the kind of things you're asking for.... If you want to see more involvement from the Ponies in the EQG Franchise you'll have to watch the Specials, not just the movies. The movies are all about the Human World while the Pony World takes a back seat.... but in the specials the writters had more liberty to connect the 2 franchises even more. In case you need a list of which specials to look for: - Equestria Girls Dance Magic - Equestria Girls Movie Magic - Equestria Girls Mirror Magic These 3 specials go together, Mirror Magic specially is the one that will interest you the most... but you have to watch the previous 2 to undestand the context. You can watch them once you finish Season 6 (although you might already be in Season 7 at this point). - Equestria Girls Spring Breakdown This one also aligns pretty well with what you want to see... but it would be better if you watch it after Finishing Season 7 and also after watching My Little Pony The Movie (the one that released for Theaters). - Equestria Girls Sunset's Backstage Pass - Equestria Girls Forgotten Friendship These 2 don't have that much of Pony World involvement but i think they are the best specials to wrap up the Equestria Girls Franchise, specially for Sunset's Character.... since she has more or less become the protagonist of EQG. Also it would be best if you watched them after Season 8 but before Season 9. There are also 2 other specials called" Rollercoster of Friendship" and "Holidays Unwrapped" but those 2 are not nearly as interesting as the ones i listed above.
