Hello, you make this look easy! I will try this on my hair.
Love it! Your hair pattern is the same as mine so i'm gonna follow your directions to the T! Thanks for this vid!
Her hairstyle is pretty, but her natural curls we're also very beautiful. She is just a beautiful girl and I was just thinking about how beautiful she is throughout watching this video. I wish my hair would curl up so beautifully like hers instead of just wave up. This video was very helpful though, and I would definitely try this out. Thumbs up.
Love that fabulous hair style! Looks great 💕 Enjoyed your video ❣ ❣ Thanks for sharing.

we have the same texture glad i found your channel
This makes me realize how much actual time and effort women who grow their natural hair take to make it look so pretty ! ..I may not be a female but I still enjoyed it none the less #EbonyAngel : )

TARA!!!!!! I Know this young woman personally. She always had gorgeous hair, and then she went for the CHOP and went natural. I ran across this video looking for examples on how to do the two strand twist---and to my surprise saw Tara. Great job Tara!

I love it. This is my first style. I am completely natural today.
Great video! No wonder my two-strand twist outs weren't turning out so hot. I was over separating the hair, so it came out more as a fro (my hair's not long but it's super thick) than something more defined. I'll be sure to try this method next time!
Your twist out has got to be the best that I have seen on KZread so far!! What is your nighttime routine?
@milkchocolatechik

Wow! Thank you! At night I simply re-twist my hair without using any product but I use much larger sections. That process takes me about 15-20 minutes

Thank you so much for this video. My hair is mostly natural but the ends are permed. Hoping mine comes out as well as yours. I'm missing a few products, but I think I can improvise. I'll post my results tomorrow...
Very helpful video thanks! 😄

That's awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, if you have a similar hair texture, then this should work for you but remember going natural means you have to re-learn your hair, so it'll take a bit of trial and error to find what works for you. I wish you much luck in your natural hair journey. Thanks so much for watching! :)
You are gorgeous!!!

Good video.
Your twist out is gorgeous! I'll have to try adding more twists to mine. I'm going through the awkward stage, and right now nothing seems to work. lol.

Thanks Jasmine! It took me a while to find a routine that worked for me, and now that I've found it, I'm sticking to it! Good luck with your journey, I know that awkward stage can be really annoying lol
Please do more videos ✨
By the way it's very cute!
You are stunning.. Your hair is beautiful. Thank you for trying to help me.. us. I do have a question for you. How often should I wash my hair and should I twist it nightly? I've been having breakage and my hair seems hard. I'm going to get those products you mentioned right away. Thanks again.. Just love your video 😊
you are gorgeous with that do!
So here are my results: my shoulder length hair drew up more than I expected during the twisting process. Lol. But it still looks great! So people with long twists must have very long hair. I found that for my 5 inch twists I look best with flat twists in the front or a headband, but I can see myself sticking with this natural style until my hair grows out more. I also like that I don't have to be so precise with this style. With braids and curls everything must be perfect to look right, but not so with the twist out. It takes time, but I think it's worth it. I also cut the permed ends but that was only like an inch of hair. Time to show my hair done tlc.
You're beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Have you ever just slept without retwisting? If so how did that turn out the next day?

Sara Vega Thank you! I've tried to go without retwisting but I always end up with a flat side and it's extremely hard to fix, so I just spend about 10-15 minutes retwisting each night with really large twists so I can preserve my style throughout the week.
Gorgeous! I have tried over n over with twists but the middle and back of my head never twist. Its just a big puff ball. I've done regular 2 strand and flat,thick and small, saturated and damp. I moved to a colder climate last June and my hair has taken a beating. Any suggestions?
Hello! I absolutely love your video and thank you for posting it. My hair is also natural and I'm looking to wear my hair like this for my wedding. I don't want to straight iron my hair hair and then have it return to its natual way. I feel with this, I can be okay with the August heat and also have a style that will last. Do you think this style will last 12 hours? My wedding is not till August of 2017. At the least I would need this style to last for 7 hours. What is your thought on this and have you personally rocked this style for that long? Thank you so much!
Ok...so u gorgeous, ur hair is beautiful, n im a new subbie:-)

I really enjoyed this video. I love my 2 strand twists but I think if I follow your process I might get the shape of yours I'm looking for. Mine tend to get frizzy, I think I separate too much maybe? How do you maintain at night?
@milkchocolatechik
10 жыл бұрын
Yes, over separating will cause frizz. To maintain at night, I re-twist my hair without any product but I use much larger sections. That process takes me about 15-20 minutes to do. Sometimes I hate to do it, but I know if I go to sleep without doing it, my twistout will look terrible in the morning. lol
You look beautiful
Be-au-ti-ful ;-D
And this may be a strange question but how did get your eyes so white and healthy looking.
Sooooooo beautiful,question can I just sit under the dryer to dry rather than air dry over night
@milkchocolatechik
10 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. I've done it many times, especially if I'm in a rush. Just sit under the dryer until the twists no longer feel dry and you're good to go :)
I love the song playing in the background -- what is it called?
Love how your twist outs turned out. Just have a quick question. The products you used, are those the exact products we have to use or can we use the products we use on a regular. Like the leave in conditioner and etc. ?
@milkchocolatechik
10 жыл бұрын
Thank you! My intentions for this video was just to show you how I achieve my twistouts, you can certainly use whatever products you'd like because we my have a different hair type and everything that works for me may not work for you and vice versa.
Love the twist!! Do you color your hair?
@milkchocolatechik
9 жыл бұрын
Lynn Haney Thank you! I do color my hair, maybe about twice a year. I usually get it professionally done
I love your hair and your makeup also how long does your twist out last
@milkchocolatechik
10 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I can make it last for about 4-5 days and I do that by re-twisting before bed but in much larger sections. Takes about 10-15 minutes to do. Then when my twistout starts to look tired, I just put it up in a puff or headwrap for a few days until it's time to wash again.

Hey, I have this shea butter curl creme, can i replace that with the twist creme. Or would the twist creme be better?
@milkchocolatechik
10 жыл бұрын
You sure can use that curl crème. Use anything that you're comfortable with or whatever works for your hair. It never hurts to try it out and if it doesn't work then you can test out something else to find out what works best on your hair :)
This is beautiful, if you want to keep this style for a week does that mean you have to do the two strand twist everyday?
@milkchocolatechik
10 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, you would have to re-twist every night, but it's not as in depth as day one. I just dry twist at night and make about 8-10 large twists. Takes about 15 minutes to do and if my hair is feeling dry later on in the week, I'll just take my favorite moisturizer and rub over all my hair and re-twist in large sections
I love your hair! How do you maintain the style after the first day?
@milkchocolatechik
10 жыл бұрын
Thank you! To maintain, I re-twist at night in much larger sections w/o any product

It does help a lot, I don't like to style my hair when it's soaking wet and the turbie twist soaks up a lot of the water and it's not bulky like a towel

Quick question. When I twist my hair each night, should I follow the same steps or should I do something different?
@milkchocolatechik
9 жыл бұрын
Erica Politica No, when I re-twist each night, I don't comb through or mess up the pattern. I simply take a few large sections and just two strand twist. Later on in the week I may add a small amount of moisturizer to my hands, rub all over the hair, then re-twist. The re-twisting process is much quicker than the initial twisting. Hope this helps :)

milkchocolatechik Great. Thanks. I wish my hair would grow out already! My twists are only like 5 inches long. :(
What product did u put in her hair?
How long does the twist out last and is it the same process for newbie natural hair?
@milkchocolatechik
9 жыл бұрын
lola bigcups How long it lasts depends on how you care for it at night. I can stretch a twist out up to 5 days but that's only if I retwist at night. The process isn't as long as the initial twisting, I just put about 6-8 large twists in my head and sleep with a satin bonnet. If you're newly natural, you can definitely use the same process but I'm not sure of your hair type, so you may have to use different products. Hope this helped :)
