    Her hairstyle is pretty, but her natural curls we're also very beautiful. She is just a beautiful girl and I was just thinking about how beautiful she is throughout watching this video. I wish my hair would curl up so beautifully like hers instead of just wave up. This video was very helpful though, and I would definitely try this out. Thumbs up.

    Great video! No wonder my two-strand twist outs weren't turning out so hot. I was over separating the hair, so it came out more as a fro (my hair's not long but it's super thick) than something more defined. I'll be sure to try this method next time!

    So here are my results: my shoulder length hair drew up more than I expected during the twisting process. Lol. But it still looks great! So people with long twists must have very long hair. I found that for my 5 inch twists I look best with flat twists in the front or a headband, but I can see myself sticking with this natural style until my hair grows out more. I also like that I don't have to be so precise with this style. With braids and curls everything must be perfect to look right, but not so with the twist out. It takes time, but I think it's worth it. I also cut the permed ends but that was only like an inch of hair. Time to show my hair done tlc.

    Sara Vega Thank you! I've tried to go without retwisting but I always end up with a flat side and it's extremely hard to fix, so I just spend about 10-15 minutes retwisting each night with really large twists so I can preserve my style throughout the week.

    Hello! I absolutely love your video and thank you for posting it. My hair is also natural and I'm looking to wear my hair like this for my wedding. I don't want to straight iron my hair hair and then have it return to its natual way. I feel with this, I can be okay with the August heat and also have a style that will last. Do you think this style will last 12 hours? My wedding is not till August of 2017. At the least I would need this style to last for 7 hours. What is your thought on this and have you personally rocked this style for that long? Thank you so much!

    I really enjoyed this video. I love my 2 strand twists but I think if I follow your process I might get the shape of yours I'm looking for. Mine tend to get frizzy, I think I separate too much maybe? How do you maintain at night?

  • @milkchocolatechik

    @milkchocolatechik

    10 жыл бұрын

    Yes, over separating will cause frizz. To maintain at night, I re-twist my hair without any product but I use much larger sections. That process takes me about 15-20 minutes to do. Sometimes I hate to do it, but I know if I go to sleep without doing it, my twistout will look terrible in the morning. lol

    Thank you! I can make it last for about 4-5 days and I do that by re-twisting before bed but in much larger sections. Takes about 10-15 minutes to do. Then when my twistout starts to look tired, I just put it up in a puff or headwrap for a few days until it's time to wash again.

  • @milkchocolatechik

    @milkchocolatechik

    10 жыл бұрын

    Thank you! Yes, you would have to re-twist every night, but it's not as in depth as day one. I just dry twist at night and make about 8-10 large twists. Takes about 15 minutes to do and if my hair is feeling dry later on in the week, I'll just take my favorite moisturizer and rub over all my hair and re-twist in large sections

    Quick question. When I twist my hair each night, should I follow the same steps or should I do something different?

  • @milkchocolatechik

    @milkchocolatechik

    9 жыл бұрын

    Erica Politica No, when I re-twist each night, I don't comb through or mess up the pattern. I simply take a few large sections and just two strand twist. Later on in the week I may add a small amount of moisturizer to my hands, rub all over the hair, then re-twist. The re-twisting process is much quicker than the initial twisting. Hope this helps :)

    How long does the twist out last and is it the same process for newbie natural hair?

  • @milkchocolatechik

    @milkchocolatechik

    9 жыл бұрын

    lola bigcups How long it lasts depends on how you care for it at night. I can stretch a twist out up to 5 days but that's only if I retwist at night. The process isn't as long as the initial twisting, I just put about 6-8 large twists in my head and sleep with a satin bonnet. If you're newly natural, you can definitely use the same process but I'm not sure of your hair type, so you may have to use different products. Hope this helped :)
