I tried this last Saturday night on dry stretched hair (but I used flexi-rods because I don't have perm rods). Needless to say I loved how my hair turned out :)

I am transitioning my hair is longer than it is in this pic so I'm hoping this will work for my hair can't wait to see the results. You looking gorgeous girl!!!

I had the same problem with using that as a leave in. I stopped using it for awhile but have started back using it cause my hair seems so much more moisturized. I was told that it works well only with other Shea Moisture products. So that's what I've been doing & haven't had that problem since. I so wish I knew how to flat twist so I could try this style. Love the vid. Your hair looks beautiful.

Beautiful hair. Thanks for sharing. We have the same texture, but your porosity looks wonderfully normal and thats been the biggest factor in my replicating great styles on YT, like yours. I am gonna try this one this tonight...after I decide what is needed to add to beat the frizz on my high porous hair. Thanks again. And nice warehouse style open floor plan home. I love this twist out, I am in the process of attempting it myself. First of all Your hair is GORGEOUS!!!!! I attempted this style but it did not produce the same results :( I think my hair is too thin for this style. But you rocked this style flawlessly.

I di dthis over the weekend and it came out so good! except I have discovered that if I want a good twist out then I have to flat twist and then use the rollers.

I love the results. I tried it once on my hair but it was nothing like that. I'm so glad I saw this video. Now I can't wait until my next try at this.

great job! I used my shea moisture curl and style milk last night with beautiful textures curling define custard that looks like a jelly. The custard gave great hold and definition, however, mix with the shea moisture it flaked a little. I have an interview today at 4pm today and didn't have time to wash. I salvaged the style by styling it into a bun. Thanks

Just depends, I like experimenting with different products. I actually haven't done a twist out in a while, I have marley twists not and I was doing a lot of wash n gos this summer and box braids.

Love it!! I finally found some who wear the same color foundation as me. I'm not natural but if I had your hair I would go natural!!

This is amazing! I have a question...If my hair shrinks really bad when wet, should I stretch it a little first before doing my flat twists? I have little to no length with wet hair so I have a feeling if I use your method, I won't have the same fullness/volume as you did.
