War of the Spark was wild for that, I had a draft once with 2 elder spells, Nicol Bolas, and about 9 other planeswalkers. Wasn't a good draft deck but it was funny :p

Man, that game where you still rebound after a Villainous for 6. Very nice.

Crazy grindy games with excellent play and sharp decisions. Well done!

Great games! I also found this format to demonstrate great exchanges in sealed and draft, plus no reason to push any archetype atm. I've drafted outlaws (7-2), mounts (7-1) and a weird bant tempo plot thingy (7-1) that oddly works! Learned many draft principles (and errors) from Nummy here. 😊

No joke, first draft of this new set, first opponent dropped on t3 oko thief of crowns. Yes, the OG. Got dumpstered😭

Oh, I didn't know that oko was in this! Bonus sheet makes everything a bit too powerful btw. It's not like in eldraine where the bonus cards were mostly aimed at constructed

Tiny Bones is great for facilitating committing crimes, but it's better in constructed when you can have a consistent number of legendary creatures to trigger it.

Primal Might is the MVP of the green decks in this set so far. Even at Sorcery speed it's such a game winning card to finish off an opponent even when they're the one in a winning position and not you. If they overextend attacking with a lot of their creatures, Primal Might with a trampling creature or a creature the opponent can't block can ruin their day on the counterattack.

Really interesting gameplay, well done. Seeing the grindfest almost makes me want to reinstate my arena account......ALMOST😊

Sticker would have been a great follow up to that arlock

7:08 is that how it works? I would think back for more's effects all resolve in order once but maybe I'm wrong

It's because Back for More has a "reflexive triggered ability". After it has returned the creature card to the battlefield, the "When you do, it fights ..." ability triggers, and then Back for More finishes resolving. The reflexive triggered ability "when you do, it fights" goes on the stack as a separate ability, and any ETB ability of the creature you returned would go on the stack at the same time, meaning you can choose their respective order on the stack.

The set seems like prime grindy sultai playground! Sweet 3 walker deck. Lol

Tinybones joins up is a great card for a legendary deck

Fun fact apparently you can open the original Oko? I got one Pick 1 Pack 1 but due to my shit drafting skills I couldn't build a good deck around it

I lost against someone curving out by dropping Oko and Jace in my face on turns 4/5. Was not expecting to see a second player with this combo lol

As someone who started drafting in Wilds of Eldraine, I feel like I need to unlearn some lessons in aggro to draft this. I feel so lost watching people on youtube. I did fine in the prerelease but I was carried by mythics for sure

@@devilbhrothesavage2807I didn’t force it, but I was graciously handed some nice green/white cards and got second out of 9. I found out the guy to my left was selesnya and got third. The guy to my right was Naya and got fourth. First was blue/green/black and swept everyone with a green 7 drop

Game 2 was already better than all but like 5 of your MKM or LCI games. I think I'm going to like this format. The mechanics like plot promote more durdle and set up. I'm for it.....even if losing to shit like Railway Brawler and Jasper over and over is kind of tilting.
