Me: can’t repair a phone Hugh:

As someone who got a lot of 10 Apple Watches and messed up two of them. First, make sure which side of the watch has the ribbon cable from the OLED panel and be very careful on that side. Second, prior to replacing the battery remove the display cables off the connectors. I messed up one display by slight tearing off one of the two cables on one Series 1 watch and the touch part stopped working.

I hope you had more luck than I did getting the lock off. I bought an iPad as it didn’t work, fixed it only to find the previous iCloud account still on it. Contacted the seller who was annoyed I had fixed it for such a cheap price and wouldn’t remove it from iCloud.

I have a question on replacing the screen of a iPhone 7 so here’s the problem when I’m supposed to remove 2 1.3 mm Phillips screws securing the bracket Over the front panel sensor assembly connector but I can only remove 1 the other won’t come out but it’s like still moving with the screw it that makes since. How do I unscrew the other one?

Hey you should try to use a watch/watch movement holder for fixing apple watches, so you dont have to use that adhesive on the back and it will be easier to open it up. They are not wery expensive on ebay, you can find good ones for 30usd, they come in handy

I think ifixit should change the material of the blade to strong plastic instead of metal so you won’t scratch your watch. Great video 👍
