Those over passes are designed to contain cars, someone was doing something stupid, you dont just fall off them.

Probably racing and crashed into each other at high speed and due to the ensuing flips and tumbles both flew off the overpass, landing very close to eachother.

This sounds like a road rage or street racing gone bad. Car of passengers who fled probably stolen. 🏄‍♂️

The adrenaline can sometimes mask the injuries for hours then suddenly they drop like a, sack of potatoes and die... Someone could have internal bleeding or injuries from the impacts and not feel them because of alcohol or drugs.. Drunk or high people often survive because they don't see the impact coming and so their bodies are relaxed enough. If you tense your body out of fear because you see that you are going to crash, flip, fly over the rails, etc then the tense muscles often cause more injury... That's why stunt people are taught to "fall the right way", they have to fight their sober instincts to tense as they fall. I've been on scenes where someone survived when we thought that they were surely dead and gone.. A guy on a motorbike over the edge of a mountain road, large gum trees with barely a gap between them. He had to weave around many trees and only stopped when his leg broke because his pants had caught in a fallen tree. He had severe breaks in his leg and one arm but was able to scream to his buddies when they came back to find him. My team carried him up around 50 metres of the mountain to the road... He joked with us about giving his bike to whoever found it and brought it up the same way. The tow truck driver pulled it up. Blessings from South Eastern Australia, Dot

They maybe wanted to protect the families of the 2 dead people in the car and the 2 that were transported to the hospital... Showing the bodies, the car and the rego plates (tags) on the news could mean that family hears and rushes down to the scene to find out. Relatives and friends who are upset have started riots and injured police, stopped ambulances from getting the injured to the hospital in time to save the patients lives, etc. If you were ignorant of why they put up tape and block the cameras from getting access then you are the "rookie". The guys who ask you to move or put up tape are just doing their job. What they are trained to do. It's not a power trip it's called procedure or SOP's (standard operating procedures). The cops need time to identify who has died and then find out next of kin and track them down to inform them of the injury or death. Take the time to learn about what you are trying to look cool about, then you won't look like an idiot who just wants to see mangled, possibly burnt bodies and the identifying details so you can spout bullsh*t about stuff you don't know anything about. You never know you might find it interesting. Sometimes those you call rookies surprise you and go on up to the top of the chain of command. Last hint before I shut up: If you see some guy in uniform without rank displayed in these types of videos, they may not be a rookie, they might just not want to show their true rank for the news just yet. The incident commander (the guy in charge of the whole scene) would be the one telling them to wait on scene. They may be waiting for the scene of crime forensic team including their forensic photographer to arrive. The whole scene needs to be photographed and recorded before the bodies of any dead patients are removed. Just in case any injury is caused by the removal that covers up the cause of death. The fireys would be giving reports to the police, making notes for themselves, coming up with a plan of how to remove the bodies if that was part of their job. They should be checking for and treating any small cuts or grazes to prevent infection or contamination of the scene. Each person at the scene has standard operating procedures that need to be done. So what looks like they are standing around "doing nothing" could be making statements, fixing details of what happened in their head, talking about what could be done better next time (because there is always a next time you see this type of scene with cars upside down).

No damage to the overpass, they both must’ve been at high rate of speed in order to clear it. If you flee then you’re guilty of something. Most likely racing, couldn’t make the corner, lost control, starting rolling, and made the perfect height to clear the overpass….my guess.

And the strange thing is, they were driving very safely...

More likely the ones who survived and ran away were "pissed as parrots" as my uncle would say. I'd guess they were drunk and drugged out of their minds. Once the adrenaline and alcohol /drugs wear off they will be feeling it. The local doctors/urgent care/hospital/medical centres all know what to look for to identify the injuries if the runners make it to them. Problem. Is they drop like flies once the adrenaline, etc wears off. One minute laughing about how they escaped then gone, dead before they hit the floor.

FYI that Asian officer has a history of aggressive behavior with the media and general public. His been caught on camera. When I saw him I thought you were going to get arrested lol his a bully

2 cars? The other videos said 1 car flew off the freeways and landed on the other car in the parking lot. The story keeps changing.
