    From what I can tell it's because for awhile Twitch streamers did actually try with their reactions, but then they just got lazier as they realized they could get away with it. Since most big reaction streamers tend to stream for 10+ hours a day they started making excuses about being too tired to add meaningful input to everything they watch and convinced their audiences that it's wrong to ask that of them. If anyone calls out Hasan for example his audience will step in to tell you about how much he talked during one 30 minute video that day so it excuses him not reacting at all for the rest of the stream. You know, because that 30 minutes of effort a day really tires people out I guess

    I have noticed this with Twitch streamers as a whole. Almost every single one of the top earners on Twitch's platform take people's videos as a means to please their audiences, reuploads the content onto youtube, then overshadow the original creator in terms of views because of their larger social platform. If these Twitch streamers didn't care about the money they are generating off the original content by reuploading it onto youtube then why not just donate all the money they gather from the reupload to the original creator?

  • @cream476

    But then that means its ok for companies who do exactly that who abuse their power and earn 100% of the creators videos just by mentioning their name. Also the video in reference to the reaction is not original either as it was animated by somebody else (their work) and they had on one of their videos (copyright music) meaning that he was reacting to a video that also copied and pasted someone else’s work. There are crime related content on youtube that uses articles that I guarantee did not generate half the clicks and the revenue the youtubers have made by using it as a reference. So this is a youtube algorithm thing not an attack on the streamer. Many youtubers gave him permission to react is mutahar a PA for daily dose? Oh wait that channel uses tik tok videos from other people aswell. (Still he did have permission I saw the same channel tweet him)

    Because streamers do not want make their own original content on KZread its just easier reupload their reactions & make money on it just like they do live on Twitch. Im guessing their train of thought is its okay react to this live on Twitch while getting donations but on KZread it is not as their react video competes with original therefore making streamer the revenue & hogging the attention & views to themselves.

  • @Xxamyyyxx

    @Xxamyyyxx

    @@Black-Knight007 its literally streaming highlights and the full vids are uploaded with permission. Ive seen most original channel tweet at content creators and are ok with it. If the criticism is why the algorithm is pushing it. That is a youtube thing. I think it is subjective from creator to creator I think a creator has the right to pursue their content ONLY if it is effecting them. As for view count oh I wonder why reactions from a particular creator gets more views than the original is it maybe because they are the biggest channel ? People big or small can react to content. Like is muta gonna be fine if a smaller channel does it ? Do I need to remind you that muta got big from making reaction content he used to quiet and never talk alot of the time, this goes for gaming. If you want to make a point about why streamers dont shave off the minutes for…the youtube content down to 10 minutes then sure. But it is xQc’s channel. If it was 10 minutes of overwatch highlights thats 2015 content bruh. I disagree with the point about the views part as it sounds EXACTLY the same as what music labels do. Muta started with the personal attacks you think he said it with flowers? I would react the same. It is a different genre, different content creators and xQc has permission Ive seen the tweets from channels like the ones he and others react to. Ive seen worse from sssniperwolf as she brags about not getting permission.

  • @lizard1776

    @lizard1776

    11 ай бұрын

    @sakrablossomzZ I understand your position about how theoretically it's the algorithms' fault on how it pushes the reaction more than the original video and how we should be critiquing youtube instead of the big twitch streamers however I still would have to disagree. I have two reasons why I disagree with this. First off, It doesn't matter if the reaction is getting more or less views than the original video. The whole content, in general, is designed around stealing and generating money off of someone's else's video. It doesn't matter how much the reaction video influence gets. It's still a problem if it only got 10 thousand views verses a million because the original video deserves that audience compared to a reaction where they don't provide any meaningful substance. A reaction video CAN justify its existence, however, with proper social commentary that actually differentiates itself from the original video.(i.e the legal eagle and little mermaid example many have brought up). Secondly, the money generating aspect of the argument is only one side of the argument that I wanted to highlight with my original comment. There is also the issue that they are using thousands of unpaid interns to generate themselves millions of dollars worth of content. It doesn't really matter if the Twitch streamer is getting permission or not because either way, they are still taking advantage of them. If the Twitch Streamers pay the original creator their proper dues for allowing the streamers to use their video as content, then I wouldn't have a problem with it. Yet, many don't do that and reap the benefits for themselves, leaving with many with more harm than good. Sure, they may have gotten some subscribers out of it but they still would have gained that amount if all of the views the streamer took by watching their video on their stream was instead used to watch the actual video. Many streamers know this fact and still choose to be leeches instead of creating content themselves.

    I think the part that upset me most was xqc saying it's only 1% of his income so it's not a big deal and acting like content creators would be in the wrong for caring about the money they are losing through this. Like yes it's only 1% of your income, but it's potentially 100% of theirs and most people aren't in a financial position to be ok with having a millionaire so blatantly stealing from them. His point about money doesn't even stand anyway though. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if he only kept the clips or VODs on twitch where his audience could still go back to rewatch them. The only reason I can see for him to move them over to youtube is that you don't get paid for people watching them on twitch
