Wish I could erase the recent official US trailer from my mind. This trailer was what I was expecting!!!

This trailer was reminiscent of the very first teaser trailer for the original Twister which had a serious and ominous tone that really sold it to the audience back then. I think this is what was needed here instead of the strange goofy feeling to the recent US trailer.

RIP Bill Paxton. Such a good actor. He portrayed so many different types of characters in many genres (rom-com, horror, comedy, action, sci-fi, etc.)

Why Bother spending money on this? Twister with Bill Paxman and Helen Hunt is still a great movie.

i totally agree as a long time fan of twister, i grew up watching the original. still my favorite disaster movie ever made. but i'm excited for something new and i realize that it can never replace or out do what came before.

Watching this after the recent tornadoes these past few weeks makes it hit entirely different. Especially the windmill scene after the Greenfield, Iowa tornado and seeing the wind turbine just fold in half in Reed's livestream footage.

This is soooo much better of a trailer. Like this looks SOO good and emotional.

This international trailer looks so scary, but US trailer looks so rock.

Love seeing “Only in cinema’s” we needa go to movies more.

This is the movie I am looking foreward to watch Twisters coming to theaters July 19. And Twister is also my favorite original movie.

I am cautiously optimistic about this movie. My only gripe is the, trying to destroy a twister. I am looking forward to it regardless and I will go see it.

This is something Reed Timmer mentioned on his stream before, that a rocket or bomb could hypothetically disrupt the atmosphere at ground level to cut off inflow to a tornado.

This has a much more serious tone. The US one is like a rock Concert. 😂

Bill Paxton would’ve been proud and happy to see this 😊

this is a good movie after atleast 25 years they finally made a new movie can't wait until it comes out!!.

I'll watch it but I doubt it will be anywhere near as good as the original.

I was about to say the same thing. That is his goal in life.

One thing to note is about the town of el reno that the movie features, is a real town which is located near oklahoma city oklahoma. The reason why the town is notable because on may 31, 2013, a 2.6 mile wide tornado, which killed 4 tornado chasers (including tim and paul samaras took a track that just missed el reno by a few miles.

As an American who LOVES the original, why does Hollywood keep doing remakes??

ok, this is better than the first trailer, which almost felt like a shot for shot of the original movie just with new actors and tech. Now it feels more like something new with tributes to the original. I can get behind this more, although it does feel like they are trying to up the drama more than it needs to be but looks like something ill enjoy watching

I was really hoping we'd get to see an EF5 tornado in a huge city this time. Also Glen Powell looks awesome in the rain

theirs literally a eF5 hitting ElReno in the Trailer. i highly doubt this film wont have a EF5 by the climax of the film. the original film progressed its way from an EF2 all the way up to a EF5 by the end of the movie. so i think this film will do the same.

tornadoes are generated as part of a supercell. If you ‘blew up’ a tornado (the visible funnel beneath the mesocyclone) that wouldn’t stop the super cell’s physics that would create tornados. A supercell is many miles tall as well as wide, so the only way I could think to disrupt a tornado maybe to quickly cool down the inflow of the storm so the temperature differential isn’t strong enough to create instability, but idk what could do that realistically on a supercell scale. The forces required to stop a tornado or a supercell would probably be just as destructive, if not more as the tornado itself so even if it’s physically possible it wouldn’t be worth it.

I'm not going to get too excited. Nothing really stands out in this trailer from other tornado movies. The characters feel so stale, and it just looks like another storm movie that's gonna take itself too seriously. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

@patricksullivan6492 the church in the background at 0:32 is on the corner of route 66 and s evens Ave. Which is on the outskirts of downtown and surroundedby buildings. In the trailer, the church is surrounded by fields

@@tyler.e7581 The only reason I can think of is maybe they wanted the shot of the distant storm to have less of an urban environment near where it is, since they usually do look more in their element out in the fields. Might not be the most valid reason but that could be why.
