That has ben going on for a long time. 20yrs ago when the billet everything craze was going on, it was pretty common. I would not recommend it on a street car. Even in the 80s with the 3.5in front runners, plenty of people crashed because the car would not stop!

Radial car, they set up the rear end to separate going down the track to keep leverage on the rear tires. Big tire (slick) cars will usually squat in the rear, especially in no-prep

That is the oil tank for the dry sump system. Cars that see G-force like this do not use a traditional oil pan....
