My dad bought his cl63 back in 07, the naturally aspirated engine was such a beauty.

By far the most beautiful grand tourer ever made. Congratulations! Please keep us updated on the modifications. Boy! ECU and Turbos will give another 200 extra horses and that's a lot! I think CL65s transmissions are designed to take only five speeds. But if you've researched then I guess it's ok to go that route. Let us know what you do with this beautiful car.

I've loved these since I was in high school when they came out. These are one of the few Banker's hotrods that have been made.

Modify it 800hp big body Benz and I think the brake caliper design is still one of the best looking designs ever.

Are you worried about the ABC suspension? I had a 2001 S500 with ABC and the pump went out - ruinously expensive so I fixed it (so I could sell it) and sold the car as quickly as I could. Wondering whether this generation's ABC was susbstantially revised and made more robust?

Didn't see this one coming Brian. Arguably the KING of CARS. Possibly the most beautiful car ever made... 1960s Jag? Verrrrry funny. This car needs little. For sure give the headlights a refresh. Make sure the window tint is not gangster level. Wheel choice is critical; can easily make this a baller/gangster mobile. Kindly keep it CLASSY. Chromium Black for colour or something mild. Upgrade the info screen. I recently came across a video to upgrade the info screen to support Apple Car Play. Here is the video title: Mercedes S Class W221 A great upgrade (Dual screen style). Put on some fresh kicks via Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. A mild tune would be a good idea too but be careful you do not drown the stock turbos with too much PSI as the turbos will run out of steam up top. 600hp and 725-750tq are handsome numbers. Update the steering wheel to something AMG-modern but not too flash, and this my friend is the ULTIMATE CL; FisherFAST Edition. WHOOMP THERE IT IS.
