Had a family friend who was a storm chaser. He’d always say the most dangerous thing is when you have multiple nearby because it’s so hard to watch both and calculate every move you make in split seconds while accounting for both. That’s terrifying.

This was like a horse shoe shaped storm, flat on both sides U shaped at the top. The right side was severe winds, tornados, slight hail and extreme rain. On the left of the horseshoe there was snow and freezing not sure how much because that's left of where I live. I live in Nebraska as well and will say this was a freak storm I'm 23 and this one definitely sticks out amongst really bad storms

As a child my family was driving on the highway on a nice hot sunny day. Storm rolling in, nasty by the clouds. Not a few minutes later my Dad's got the pedal to the floor trying to out run the thing (no where to go) & us kids were in the back staring at this enormous tornado that was waaaay too close to us. He finally came up to a side road & turned off hoping to get out of the way........tornado veered off behind us not long after. Two or three times we thought we'd escaped only for the thing to double back. Crazy shit. My Dad was a WWII vet, man had nerves of steel & I never imagined he could drive like that! Finally the thing kept on moving away from us & we were safe. Never forgot it. 50 yrs ago. I have massive Respect for Storm Chasers. This was some amazing footage!

I had a very similar experience. Dad took us to Colorado for vacation, and honestly, I don't remember where we were, but the terrain was flat and all fields. We were surrounded by 6 tornadoes, and my Dad drove like a gangsta. Praise God Dad made all the right decisions. He was a Federal Agent, and I'm sure all his car chases paled in comparison. I have (I guess) PTSD from that experience, because tornadoes paralyze me. I kick myself into gear and do what needs to be done. No time to freeze.

Hi Scott. Absolutely fantastic work Buddy. I love watching sever thunderstorms and tornadoes. As a former Pilot with U.K. based Virgin Atlantic, I spent nearly twenty years flying to the US. And we did our best to avoid flying anywhere near sever thunderstorms! But they were so captivating and beautiful from a distance in the air. Orlando and Miami in the summertime were my favourite routes! I’m now subscribed, and buying your Nebraska Twin Tornadoes Print too. I’ve sent you an email with a request for you to sign my framed print if you can please. I’d really appreciate it mate. Best Regards. from England
