I don’t understand why companies force them to loose weight like that. Not only is it extremely unhealthy and toxic but it will just make them weaker and preform worse than they normally would. Would you rather have a starving, weak, unhappy idol who can’t perform at her best or one who is at a healthy weight that is happy, strong, energetic and performing better? It just doesn’t make sense.

I just don’t understand why JYP hasn’t hired on dietitians and personal trainers for the girls from the get go since he’s so health conscious. He installed that organic cafe in the JYP building but bans the trainees from eating there instead of putting low-cal meals on the menu for them. If the trainees met with dietitians and were taught nutrition & weight management techniques instead of told “get to - kg or else” with no further instruction how they should, I think they’d all be in a much healthier mental place.

Them frantically backtracking after the manager scolded them is so sad.. I hope they will at least live healthily from now on and do whatever they want without worries.
When sixteen air I watched and voted but I couldn’t bring to rewatch ever again
therye so relatable as idols to my ed brain omg
Instead of telling trainees to lose weight, they should have made healthy diet plan and implement it some time before showcase or sth. This would make a huge difference. Trainees could lose weight easily and healthily. What kind of crazy ass people r in management now?
Does anyone have the link of this vlive? I want to watch it from the start till the end, thankyou to whoever gives it❤
Nayeon doesn't really talk about her diet
Hey can I have the link pls
imagine suppressing vital nutrients at the age when the body is growing and needed it the most. :(
Yaaa neoooo toooo
Sounds like it was a lot of water weight. Which can be hard on the kidneys among things but can also be fatal if the electrolytes get too far out of whack. When I’m super busy I can lose 3 pounds in a day by dehydration . I hope it doesn’t do long term damage
I feel so bad for them bro :(
I've heard that in Bg isn't that strict like that when it comes to weight

There is an old video of BG's CEO criticizing the members for not being slender enough. There is also an old video of a manager severely criticizing Seolhyun in early days for eating pizza someone else brought. It's hard to watch. I think it's common in the industry.
What era was this ? When this was being filmed
that was illegal, right?
Where can I watch this full video?

Momo was always so skinny even on Sixteen I don't understand the dieting.
I went through something very similar to Momo in two months I think so. I just remember the first two weeks because then my brain literally didn't work.
It’s actually sad what happened with Momo wtfff
