TW200 Best Headlight Comparison Ever! This is a must see if you're thinking of a new headlight!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hey!! In this video we take four.......yes four (4) TW200 Yamaha's and install different headlights for each. We have the TW200 Stock Headlight, Silverstar Ultra Halogen Headlight, JNS Engineering Headlight for the TW200 and finally the Tusk 6" LED Light Bar from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. My friend Randy and I show you the difference in all of them, side by side, letting you know what options there are out there for the Mighty TW200. Now, is this all? Of course not! The TW200 uses a 9003 Bulb which has MULTIPLE options in the automotive world. PLUS, it is an H4 bulb, which also has multiple options! One subscriber also says that he uses an LED bulb he found on Amazon for $10!
So there are a lot of options out there for the TW200 and we just wanted to show you what we have used and seen on some of them! Now, the Tusk light bar cannot be used as a street legal replacement for the head light, but for hunting and being out on trails it is awesome!

    Awesome Video man! That was a lot of fun to watch! I love my bike with the Tusk 6" LED bar light and would do it over again, but I'm pretty sure you just helped sell the crap out of the JNS Engineering Headlight lol. So simple to install and such a BIG difference! Thanks for the comparisons!

    Sweet!! That JNS was a way good light for sure! Install was super simple and if you are doing a lot of night riding I think it is really a great way to go, and it's street legal!! Thanks for watching, I appreciate it and good luck with the setup you go with!

    I’m a firm believer in good brakes, tires, lights, and windshield wipers for any of my vehicles that have those items. A good headlight on a bike can certainly save the day. The JNS is completely worth the $!

    Something to really talk about is the low power draw on the JNS engineering headlight. This allows usb upgrades on older model tw200's.

    I just put a beamtech h4 in mine last night. Came with 2 bulbs which i didn't realize until it was almost here. Told me on amazon it also fit our 2012 Toyota yaris and almost thought i was buying the wrong lights at first. Almost put them in that. The wifey hit a deer tonight... Glad i didn't waste them and also don't think it would've helped as it was around a corner and there was multiple deer and nowhere to go except slow down. Hope insurance won't total the car, but glad i upgraded and didn't hit it on the bike and got some venison in the freezer! Legally in my state! All in all... replace your bulbs people!

    Found that adding the H4 and having it properly adjusted really does make a difference. But, that JNS Engineering light kit is a pretty sweet upgrade. Glad you didn't hit that deer on the Tdub........that would have been a bad day!

    Wow, really goes to show the difference between stock and just about every other possible option. But that JNS headlight, I'm pretty sure that's the optimal option assuming you have the money. I've been happy with my $10 Amazon LED, it's bright, but not like a spotlight like the JNS.

    I remembered you talking about your bulb from Amazon! I mentioned that in the video description! That JNS is super slick to install and it does have a bunch of light. To each their own! I'm glad you like that other bulb, I'd like to see how it stacks up to the stock bulb!

    With all the light add ONS, wouldn't you just about over tax the stator, or you would have to upgrade to a more powerful out put stator. Either way, aren't you close to taxing out the power draw?!

  • @MOBStreet83

    @MOBStreet83

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hey Anthony! Good Question. The only one that really added anything to the system was the Tusk Light Bar. Other than that the stock replacement bulb didn't add anything, the Ultra light replacement was the same as stock, the JNS LED draws half of what the stock bulb draws and the Tusk light bar doesn't add much at all and hasn't been an issue for the other bike. It has been on there for almost two years now without any issue. If you are adding a lot more lights and accessories to the stock setup then yes it will be a problem. LED replacements for the stock headlight don't draw nearly as much and you can add a few more accessories as long as you know what the stock output is and what you are adding.

There is another headlight I installed on mine from Tach Industries that has more adjustment and it is cheaper and they hold up great.
