    What is your favorite way to make it the longer route? Meaning, multiple days and using something like kefir or buttermilk?

    yes, over a few days using kefir or greek yogurt, buttermilk would work too :-)

    @@petersfoodadventures it does turn out a little different. I tried both ways, but sometimes you just can't wait to have tvorog...and so that's when the speedy method with lemon/vinegar does suffice. Thank you!

    Здравствуйте Петр, очень интересное видео! Я такой способ раньше не встречала. Сейчас живу в Японии, где творог - больная тема... Очень сложно здесь с молочкой. Подскажите пожалуйста, как бы вы считали калорийность домашнего творога по этому рецепту? Заранее спасибо за ответ)

    Привет, Даша! Спасибо, что посмотрели видео. Конечно, вы можете использовать уксус вместо лимонов, если это проще. Мне нравится использовать сыворотку, приготовленную из лимонов, вместо уксуса. К сожалению, я понятия не имею, как считать калории, я совсем не умею считать калории за всё, что ем. Извините. )

    What is the flavor like? Is it similar to cottage cheese or does the lemon greatly influence the flavor?

    Hi Chris, it's more like a ricotta than a cottage cheese. The lemon doesn't influence the flavour at all, I think it's better than using vinegar. I like to use the whey in other cooking like bread in blini, and find its more mild whey than vinegar.

    If I want 500g of tvorog should I use 2 litres of milk? How many litres of milk do I use to get 500g of trorog?

    It's not an exact science. When I weighed my last batch I made, it was around 650g. Weight also impacted by how wet you like your tvorog.

    I’m sorry but this is a fake tvorog recipe! Real farmers cheese/tvorog goes through natural fermentation process and not using lemons or vinegar to curdle it!!

    fake tvorog 🤣 - you are right it's not a traditional tvorog, it's an Easy tvorog recipe, made without fermentation (therefore quick and easy). Fermented tvorog is always best, however, this curdled method is very commonly substituted, alongside farmer's cheese (which is also not fermented). I'm surprised you haven't heard of this before? Google it for more info.
