The way the scumbag saw that the TV was not plugged in to the aerial socket - AND THEREFORE UNABLE TO RECEIVE A LIVE TV SIGNAL - and then calmly plugged it in and insisted the householder then turns on the TV hoping he would then receive a live signal was nothing short of entrapment. In Court, this video is powerful evidence that the TV could not receive a live signal UNTIL the BBC scumbag enabled it to do so.

@@wahidkhaliq4776 Sorry you're going through that brother. They don't have any real authority. You can watch videos that explain how to deal with them. The easiest way is to go on their website or write to them and tell them you don't require a license as you don't watch live broadcasts (whether you do or not) they have no way to confirm otherwise unless you are tricked into letting them in. You don't have to answer their questions, and you don't have to open the door to them. They won't get a warrant that allows them to break down your door. The furthest they will go is turning up with what they _claim_ to be a warrant, that is just signed by a JP and doesnt allow them to force access. I've seen videos of them trying this and the ones who were smart enough to still refuse them they go away sulkily saying they will get a warrant. If they had one, why would they need one? Fill in their form online and if they send someone out, you dont have to deal with them. You dont even have to give them your name. As soon as you hear TV license, shut the door.

Nope only way to deal with these people is to treat them like the door-to- door salesmen they are. The "warrent" is usually only for breach of the peace.... they assume you will become unpeaceful. 🙄 and you don't have to allow them in even if they have police and a warrant.

Other company's don't have this right to send officers around to people's homes with warrants to intimidate them. I'm not fully educated in the law but where does this stand in the harassment law?, once you have said no to a product you no longer want and informed them that should be enough, how are they allowed to pursue you to make you feel guilty for not continuing to have there service? Why isn't this an offence under law ?

even if u havnt got a TV they will still demand u let them in to check. Its not just TV's they r looking for. They will get u for anything that is capable of watching a TV program even if its ur smartphone. Last visit i had from them they searched the whole house looking for something to get me on. I have 2 TV's but neither have an arial conected to them. No arial on the roof either. Living room its a 4k TV/bluray play conected to my PC and is only used for that. its never even been tuned into to see if i can get a TV signal. Bedroom has a 3D TV/bluray setup for watching films when im in bed. That TV used to be tuned in for TV years ago at my old home and i had a license there but when 4G came out i couldnt get any TV stations so stopped paying the licence. I retuned that TV without an arial pluged in so all the channels got erased. Last visit they checked and found they couldnt get a TV signal so gave me an exemption license so i dont need a licence. But they did say i might need 1 later if they can con the govt into letting them charge a licence fee to watch youtube or use the internet. Prob is most TV's come with BBC iplayer app built into them. So they can get u for that even if u dont watch it. Its not just BBC programs they do u for. its any program broadcast live. As youtube does broadcast some stuff live they have the legal right to do u for that if u dont have a licence. Thats cause the BBC does live broadcasts via youtube now and then. Hence why the BBC r bullying the govt into making the licence cover internet use and youtube watchers/broadcasters. The BBC r funding terrorists and run by terrorists. Look at 9/11. they were broadcasting stuff then before it actualy happened. BBC news 24 started to report a plane crashing into the WTC with a photo of it. then the anchor said oops ignore that story it hasnt happened yet. That was 1 hr before it official happened. Then later a reporter was saying WTC 7 has collasped but it was clearly still standing behind her. it didnt come down till 20 mins later. So the BBC knew all about it before it happened which means they were in on it and knew all the facts before hand. Another story was edited by the BBC before putting it on air. thousands of jews were protesting in newyork burning Isreali flags demanding Isreal gets wiped off the map as its giving jews a bad name. It got edited to say it was muslims protesting not jews. Lots of terrorist attacks done by Isreal gets twisted to say it was muslims. But what do u expect when the BBC is owned by the rothchilds a German zionist jew family. Real jews hate the zionist jews. 1 persons terrorist is another persons freedom fighter. WWII the resitance groups fighting to defend their homeland from the Germans were heroes. yet Palastinians defending their land and homes from invading Isreali's r called terrorists. If a non jew speaks out against Isreal they r called anti semite. If a jew speaks out against Isreal they r called self haters. In that respect the BBC backs Isreal no matter what crimes they commit hence funding and supporting terrorists via TV licensing.

ITV is unwatchable trash. Channel 4 is the best solution, publicly owned like BBC but with adverts. The TV licence is really expensive for what you get, £12.56/month for a single network which has too low a budget to make shows which look good (see Dr Who) or give interesting prizes on quiz/game shows (e.g. £1000/episode top prize rolling over each show). Compare you what can you get for similar or less money from e.g. Netflix.

@@KX36 I agree about Netflix, (don't forget their budget is getting bigger daily) but some of there stuff - considering the budget - is depressingly familiar - end of the World Sci-fi being one example. Neither is the comedy outstanding - yet. The fact that they may stop buying films, so we will even less choice is also a downer. I just think people don't know when there are onto a mostly good thing. I know it's not perfect, but people in the States would give their right arms for TV without ads. AD break - Credits - AD break - 10 minutes of a programme - AD break. I literally would be tearing my hair out. The BBC exists because we pay a TV licence, and while they cosy up to the government then it escapes criticism. They could definitely give better value, but what about all the goons who think it is somehow clever not to pay their licence? This guy is anything but a law abiding citizen.
