Next time, ditch the annoying music and TALK instead. Explain the steps so the viewer can focus on what you're doing instead of annoying music.

May I ask, how did the dirt get there in the first place?

I just did this today on a 55 inch tv. A lot of sweaty moments later, but damn. This actually worked, and was the problem in my tv since 2 years after I got it. So happy right now, seems like a new one!

brilliant! now I actually know what it is! I have asked tv technicians what it is, none could tell me, thank you. not that I can do this myself. but at least if i call someone out they can now see what the problem is. I have 2 tv's with this on, and never knew what caused it! thank you.

Be careful during cleaning your house. Dust will fly in there or sometimes dusts settled around the screen and when a slight wind movement disturbed or fans or blow air, dust will go onto the screen which you have to take the screen apart to clean it.

Great video. A clever master. Little did I know that smudges on the screen could cause dirt. And those suction cups for the panel are perfect. Could you send me a link where they can be bought? And Thanks.

For those of you contemplating replacing blown SMD LED's I can say that replacement like for like in terms of size, power and very accurate alignment of top lens is essential to avoid bright spots showing through. Best to replace all the the strips with new ones.

I watched this yesterday because my samsung 32" tv had dark patches at the top. I literally copied everything from the vid this evening (except for the suction handles cos normal people don't have those hanging about) and it worked perfectly - my TV is like new! Thanks a lot for showing this, it helped me save money not havig to buy a new one and I learnt about TVs.
