They really found the formula of the new Bonfire with the talking through a mouthful of food bit 🔥

My ex-GF was on the original MTV show. Although it was totally fake, down to the vehicle she was getting "pimped". They used a fake name for her, too. The episode she was in had her claiming she drove a old Suburban. It was a tank and an 88 Suburban, IIRC. Wasn't her vehicle at all, lol. They cast her and then basically had her find whatever busted ride she could find. That was literally mandated when they realized her actual car was a fairly new, clean Ford Escape. So, obviously, they cast the people first and then work out the vehicle part after. The Suburban in the show belonged to a relative AND they take back half the stuff they put in it anyway. It still ran like buttcheeeks and everything. The name they gave her for the episode was Allison, IIRC. Not her name. Based on when we were together it was shot in 2003 because I left in late-2003 and it was shot a few months before that. It would have aired in 2004 because we still spoke and she called me when it was going to air on MTV. Anyway, she was cool though and we only broke up because I moved across the country. Really cool chick I wish my younger self didn't just abandon like a moron. Oh, she also had funny stories of everyone on set trying to bang her. She said she barely saw Xzibit and he was the only dude that didn't openly try...so there's that. It was a TV show but it was still a garage full of East-LA vatos lol.

My brother dated a girl who ended up going on the Show after they had broken up, and she brought the father of her child and his new girlfriend and fought them. All the problems situations were real, and were well known in our small town. It was wild.

It's such a shame, Xzibit really was a legit West coast rapper back in the 90s and early 2000s. He collaborated with the best and even had Dre produce for him. Incredible flow and ambition to his style, but for some reason his never popped off like the rest of his peers. Guess he needed the money and did that show, which in turn tarnished his reputation and career even more later on.
