This tutorial needs to be removed for all the right reasons, because this gives all the wrong reasons on what to do to alleviate resolution problems.

If you have the games on steam right click on the name then go to properties and then go to compatibility and click “run compatibility troubleshooter” it worked for me : )

You have a right and left Alt 2 of them so try the 2 of them If this fails open game go to options pick 1024x768x16 under Graphic Options in Screen Size then tap Alt and Enter together if still fails open a single player Random map start the game top right corner open game menu then player options in Screen Size pick 1024x768x16 tap on the Alt and Enter all done worked for me screen bigger now

Well in my case was "CTRL + ALT + ENTER" Over Game´s Shorcut or click over the Shorcut with the Mouse´s secondary button and then "properties" > same thing. ;)

The option to do that has been removed in Windows 10. Lot of games is unable to be played because of this stupidity of starting in wrong resolution.
