Another great tutorial Claire. I love your style of teaching and I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you.
I totally loved this tutorial. the color choices are among some of my favorites. I am going to find the stencil so I can do the in my book. Thanks for sharing with us. And thank you for the combination chart of colors.
Absolutely going to try this in one of my books

Claire, might you give us a wee look at the bees you coloured so beautifully, pls? I paused the screen to get an idea of the colours you used. They are gorgeous as well! Blessings
I love your tutorials they are the only ones I can follow without stressing out. I hope you do more in the future!! A weekly tutorial video would be wonderful 😀.
Such a fun idea - so pretty.
It’s amazing!! Everyone in the whole world is having that as a background 😂😂 love it x

Ahh thank you!
What a great effect! And it seems simple enough! I’m so glad you do this great tutorials. I feel the same about speed coloring, not useful for me!
How beautiful, thank you so much of a great tutorial.
absolutely wonderful!..I'm learning soooo much from you! ....thanks!
Thank you so much! Your videos are awesome and I've learned so much. You make it so easy to follow and learn. I happened to have a honeycomb template (little smaller then yours) and did a test page and used gold glitter gel pens and it turned out great, so easy! I'm going to get the paint you suggested and a larger template then give it a go on the coloring page, so excited!
Thank you for the inspiration. Going to do it too.
Ty your the best Claire
Wow!!! The Honeycomb looks so cool! What a great idea....so creative. The stroke marks make all the difference in how it blends. Love the colors you have chosen....they go great together. I love the gold paint....now I have to purchase it! I like how the gold paint makes the honeycomb look so 3D. just gorgeous! I'm going to do this in my books. Thanks so much for the idea and the video tutorial.
Just amazing Claire!! You and Claire Holloway are my two favorite on KZread. You both make things so easy to learn and I’ve come so far with my coloring thanks to both of you! I’ll always be a fan and admirer!! Great job on this video ❤️

Great tutorial once again!
Brilliant tutorial!! I can't wait to try this in my book. I just hope with only buying the 132 prismas that I have all the colors I will need. I'm pretty I have them all I would just have to double check.
WOW Claire that is amazing thanx so much do love your tutorials. Blessings Jo
Absolutely stunning!! Lovely Claire!!
I will be trying this! You have done a fantastic job explaining! Thank you for sharing how to make this beautiful page 🐝
Thanks so much, Claire - it looks totally amazing and gorgeous!
love that You use polys.love your channel
Love love love your tutorials. This honeycomb tutoring is the best. Thank you Claire 💕
Oh bless you! I was dying to see how you did that. Thank you so so much!
Loved this and as always love all your tutorials. Thank you!
Love these tutorials, Claire. I'm just a year late watching them. I love that you've used Polys here, because they are now my pencils of choice. When they're combined with the paint, magic happens. Oh, it won't be as easy for me, but I love trying your techniques 😏
That’s so cool!
Thank you. You are always very clear on your tutorials. I have wanted those paints for a while but have not bought them. I am not very neat with painting so I have been afraid to try them. Watching you paint with the flat brush has made it seem like it is something I can do. I don't have that book but I will try it on something. Thanks.
This is beautiful! Your tutorials are really pleasant to watch and easy to follow. I especially like that you include the color swatches :)
Love it Claire .!!
What an awesome tutorial! Thank you!

thank you so much Claire! So amazing. A question...did you do the honeycomb first and then the bees? or the bees first and then the honeycomb.

I’ll try and remember the colours xx
Hi, Claire. I was wanting to know where you got this template from. That's really cute.
Thanks so much claire. Damn that stencil doesn't post to Australia bleh.
Thank you so much for that tutorial! I really loved it as you showed it to us before you sended the pages off and I'm glad for the tutorial. The more orange colour in the combes from the Polys makes a huge difference compared to the comb with Prismas. It feels more 3D and I like it more. Or as would one be in the light and one in shadow. Maybe the orangy sienna tones need more space to get the same result or an actual orange instead. But I had to go back to your review after this: Finetec Pearl Colours Paint Review & Demo You used the colours on white (and black) paper in the review and I was flashed how opaque and how bright the colour shows up here. It doesn't nearly look like this in the review. Did you figured out a better waterratio to use or how long the water should be on the paint to loosen the pigments beforehand? Maybe it's just a different camera angle or lightening, but they really look much brighter and more opaque in the tutorial.
@ColourwithClaire

Use less water- the more you use the less opaque it will be xx
my honeycomb stencil doesnt have a side part like that . It was awkward trying to adapt that
Help claire I need your advice. I decided to try and copy your honeycomb pattern in my book but iv done the honeycomb with the flat edge at the top instead of the pointy bit. Any ideas on how I can change it I didn’t realise until I had coloured the honeycomb in. I haven’t done the gold yet as my daughter is buying me the gold paint for Christmas..xx

Not sure what you mean, can you private message me on facebook or insta pls
OMG I have been wanting to do this ever since I saw your picture, tytyty so much for sharing. Oh no, they don't ship the stencil to Australia and the one I have has really skinny separation sections where you colour the gold part and I can't find another like it :-( xo

Do you have eBay in Aus? You could ask a seller who laser cuts them if they will do you a custom one x

yes we have but they are listed only on uk and it specifically says they do not ship to Australia. So sad :-(

We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is unable to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing. This is what you get when you ask to contact the seller :-(

I love this tutorial! Thank you. I am a very novice colored pencil user. The picture I am working on also has drops of honey and I am struggling with how to make the honey drop look realistic. Do you have a tutorial that guides one through the process?

@@ColourwithClaire Thank you for responding. I look forward to the tutorial. I'll start on the honeycomb, bee, and flower and hope you have had time to do a short tutorial on a drop of honey! BTW I love the idea of using metallic, shiny paint or gel pens for the honeycomb border!
Can you please let me know what colors of the Finetec paint were used to paint the honeycomb. Thanks
@ColourwithClaire

As I said in the video it was the Arabic Gold x

Thanks😊.....At the beginning of the video, the finished picture looks like it has a few different colors of paint along with the Arabic gold. Is that just the color of the Arabic gold reflecting the light making it look like different colors?

This is great, but I can't understand the obsession with Ivy and the Inky Butterfly. I think it is a pretty dumb story and not at all her best artwork. I'll do this in another book such as Secret Garden. I shelved Ivy.
