I have the Prismacolor colorless blender pencil, the Caran D'ache full color blender pencil, the Prisma alcohol blending marker, paper stumps made from a diy video and the Daler and Rowney odorless thinner. I haven't really liked any blending method. It's always made the color look muddy to me and I figured I probably wasn't using anything the right way. I have since figured out that the Caran D'ache is better for certain looks and the Prisma has its uses as well but felt I invested poorly in the thinner until I saw this. You are the only one that made it click for me. and I had to try it on some wood grain the Game of Thrones coloring book. Thank you for helping to understand how to use what I already had. I just had to let you know you helped. Best Wishes Claire.

Hi Claire - I have had this book for some time now and haven't done one thing in it and then I catch this video. I love, love how my floor turned out and my dress isn't nearly as beautifully vibrant as yours - but I am going to add some darker shadows. I've never really been a fan of Gamsol - but for large areas - it's the bomb!! Thank you so much for sharing the "how to" - I enjoyed it greatly. Kathy

Lmfao 😂 😂 😂. I have to say, one of the best and funnest video I've seen you do! Lol. 😄 😄. But it's adorable! And the end, with the pencil, I do that all the time! Lol. 😄 😄. I'm going to have to break down, get some of the blending stuff. Does make look so smoother, and can color faster! I was watching the livestream of Sammie yesterday morning. She was talking about the light fast pencils of Derwent. She told me you already announced the winner in your drawing. I've been out of town. Didn't get home until Saturday. I've been looking back on your past videos. Which one is it? I can't believe I missed it! 😣😤😤. And this picture is awesome! As always! I love the purple dress, beings it's my favorite color. Lol. I can't wait to see this one finished. Thanks for sharing! 😉 ❤. Please let me know what video you showed the winner in? Thanks hun! 😉 ❤.

In my email, given me a chance to order the sets of there 48 refill pens, and a set of the watercolor brush pens, also refillable. For 29,99 a set! I know it's a good price, but I've never used there brand. Wondering if you have? Are they worth getting? OK, talk soon. 😊 ❤

Colour with Claire ,oooo, ok! Lol. I figured I didn't win. I just like when I watch the videos of the ones that win. I get just as excited as they do!lol. I've got 5 coloring books coming now that I've won, was overwhelmed. I never win anything, so I was shocked when I won the books from 2 other youtubers I'm subscribed to, lol. If I'd had won those pencils, I would have probably had a heart attack!lol. I've heard there almost gone now, getting hard to get. Thanks for getting back with me. 😉😉😊

But I've noticed something curious in the comments - in the description it says that the video was published a little more over a month ago, yet some comments were written a year ago? Guess even time travelers love your tutorials :) ...

Hi Claire I have a question. How do you know which Colors match like you did in this video. I’m still struggling with finding the right light or darker colour. For instance I used hotpink as midtone (for glazing on a donut) and used process red as a shade. In the end I used the white to lighten it up a bit because it wasn’t the ‘right midtone’. And the shading didn’t really pop. So I was a bit disappointed ☹️
