Hi, do you know any workaround for Shape Layer path copying? When i copy shape layer path keyframe to another shape layer path to change its form the copied shape has got an offset. its not in the right place? Can't find any proper workaround for it. This tool CopyMask2Layer 2 from mamoworld kinda doing what i want, but its for mask path. i want this effect for shape layer path. Thx tho :D

I do have a question that when I import an illustrator vector file into my After effects composition. It looks pixelated (like raster) despite I click on the button (For comp layer: Collapse Transformations; for vector layer continuously rasterize). Could you please let me know, why it's happening? I asked this question to a couple of people but still, I didn't get the answer. Thanks

Make sure you select the preview quality of your screen to Full or Auto (because quarter will render every 4th pixel and half will render every 2nd pixel on the screen). This speeds up AE but it also causes the quality loss in most cases. other than that if the vector is okay and imports properly it will be sharp BUT remember that your actual composition is for example 1920x1080 - and this is the amount of pixels that will be displayed, so this is the limit as well.

Yeah, I don't get the point of the video. I ended up making a null layer, animating it, and then linking my other layers to it.

Have the playhead always in the appropriate place before copying!

There is a good script for copying keyframes, it costs $15 and is called EaseCopy, is helpful :)
