Turning Resin, Pine Cone and Christmas Lights

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Welcome to today's project! I used resin, string lights, a pine cone and red reflective confetti glued to it and it's base. The string lights are wrapped around the pine cone, the way Christmas trees are usually wrapped while the red confetti resemble tiny ornaments. :)

    You did a wonderful project with this one. One question though. What did you do with the wires & batteries while you were turning the piece ? You didn't show us.

    Thank you! I detached the wire from the switch, then tucked it into the small space (01:00). After i was done turning, i soldered the wire back to the switch. :)

    Why do you pour the resin in such small batches?

  • @MindToMade

    @MindToMade

    4 жыл бұрын

    If the resin pour is too big it will crack due to the heat created from the chemical reaction (Exotherm)

    Nice work, but one little mistake. This cone is definitely NOT from pine.
