Diaper is how it was described in the Light Novels. Anime does look like a chastity belt and in a sense that's what it is. It allows Elinalise to remain faithful and still live. Cliff is one heck of a guy!

Without any spoilers, the fact that the letter came from Gisu rather than Paul is probably more concerning than you might think initially. Because in retrospect after having finished the full story, it really makes you question if the man god was trying to encourage or discourage Rudy to stay. Since they weren't particularly strong arguments and even the idea of the two beast girls heavily pursuing him and taking one on as a second wife, wasn't something that landed well so soon after he found out Sylphy was pregnant

In restrospect, I think he really wanted Rudy to stay. He did that thing with Oldeus, right. So this time too is probably another one where he doesn't want Rudy to meet "her" again, preventing their marriage. He tried to appeal to Rudy's previously prominent perverted side by offering him sex (with beastgirls), only to fail.

Technically he could've tried to tell Rudeus that Sylphy might be in danger if he leaves her. Which can encourage him to stay, as Sylphy and the baby would likely outweigh the extended family at the current stage.

I don't remember if we got an explanation for it in the LN, but it's possible Geese sent the letter on his own without instruction from Hitogami, and then got an earful for it later. We are shown later on plenty of occasions that Hitogami isn't exactly the smartest about planning ahead and is bad about being subtle; the brains behind his best plans is Geese.

It was more that he actually felt like he was a valued member of the party, where he wasn't ever valued as a vital member by any other party he joined. Most Party's didn't have a need for him and his various skills. So their Party was the only one he could ever be seen as useful in. Thus his regret in teaching a particular member of it how to cook, he see's that choice of his as the reason the Party disbanded. While most of the other's blamed Paul, he blamed himself more than anyone else. As we know, most of them didn't fit well in other Party's. Elinalise in particular due to her condition, Paul because he was a self-disowned Noble & womanizer, Zenith because she was a naive runaway Noble, Gislane because she was a literal illiterate berserker (only Paul could subdue her, due to his high level of training in the other two Sword Styles) and I forget why Tolrand didn't work well with others (I think it was the discrimination because he was Dwarf or his attitude in general). Geese had a variety of skills that the rest didn't. They dedicated their lives to their other talents while neglecting things like cooking, accounting, lock picking, trap disarmament, scouting etc etc. Geese is a bit of a jack of all trades Rouge/Thief type, spent his time learning other skills while being only being moderately good at most typical Rouge/Thief skills. None the less, all of his skills were one's in which the rest of the Party didn't have or weren't nearly as well practiced as him. They literally needed him to round out the Party's flaws in those areas. So when they disbanded, he couldn't find any Party that needed his other skills and could recruit someone who spent more time specialising in those Rogue/Thief skills than him. The rest could never find a stable permanent Party after that either. So he was more felt that he was the reason the only Party for himself, and the others, disbanded. Not so much because he wasn't able to be in a romantic relationship with any of them. Maybe he lamented not being able to have the same casual sexual relationship Paul had with Elinalise or even Gislane (Dispite him likely fearing being mauled by her in the process). None the less, I don't think that was a factor.

He is more like Rudy in that he is a coward. But at the same time cowards survive. They are survivalist. They will do anything to live. Paul was just a skilled person that could get any lady he wants. So it was double weird that Zenith would want to keep him to herself. Especially when practices the religion of Millis. Geese knows that and if he had feeling for her anyone with a crush would assume that teaching someone a wifely thing makes them feel like they are getting closer together. Otherwise he would have never thought her in the first place. If he knew what he knew now he wouldn't. He did it the first time because he assumed something more would happen. Since Paul isn't of the Millies region Geese could only assume Zenith was learning to ask Geese out or to as Talhand. Which I believe his story is that he just doesn't work well with anyone. Which could be said about the whole party. Paul will steal your woman. Geese isn't the best at anything. Zenith is a noble and to adventurer that is seen as someone that will just leave them when they get bored or too scared. That is an untrustworthy thing when adventurer have to have each other's backs. Talhand is a stubborn dwarf that will drink all the money away. Ghislaine is a berserker that was kicked out of her own clan because she was dangerous. And Elinalise will steal your man. All of them were outcast nobody would want to partner up with. The risk of an adventure is to lower any risk that will get themselves killed.

I wanted Rudy to talk to Nanohoshi first before he left because she might know where a teleporter is to get him there and back faster.

I just listened to this part of the novel 2 days ago, learning about Norn was soooo good, she’s so different to Aisha. And I’m just really looking forward to the next upcoming arc.

Why does Sylphie thinks Rudeus wants a child so much? btw the thing I always knew about this series is that Rudeus marries various characters. I didn't expect that Sylphie would get pregnant so fast, specially after she said that could have difficulties. I was imagining that Sylphie having difficulties getting pregnant could play a role in Rudeus marrying the others.

I think the cost of top adventures would be more than the amount of money he got from his father. Not only that but the danger, and risk of such an adventure would make the price go up far more, add in how long it would take just to get there, and back, and you have a poor, homeless, and desperate man who gave up everything of value to save his parents, but wouldn't even try to go himself, and would rather make his pregnant wife, and sisters be homeless then go looking for his parents.

Because Rudy is stronger than top adventurers. Even Ghislane and Ruijerd have spoken about how many people are needed to take down a red dragon and how only the great powers can. Keep in mind one of the episodes early this season SHOWS Rudy EASILY 1v1 a red dragon. Very easily. He could probably deal with multiple at a time. Ghislane had multiple people in her party perish trying to take one down. Rudy is a BEAST.

I love your commentary. I just watched a couple of your skip content videos and I'm enjoying them so much. I hope you keep doing these(knowing what's to come in volume 12 and 15), they make me appreciate Mushoku Tensei more

The complex chemical interactions that life requires are contingent on the ability of carbon to bond with four other atoms, which means it can create extremely complex molecules. More importantly, the binding energy is close to the triple point temperature of the solvent required to facilitate the interactions (water). What an episode. There was so much stuff to get through before Rudy could leave and I'm very impressed by how well they handled jumping from one topic to another while keeping a steady flow to the episode. Zanoba cemented himself as best bro with that advice if you ask me. And speaking of Zanoba, I always assumed the dragon figure was closer to the size of a statue than a figure, but maybe that's just me.

Wow I didn't think season 2 would get all the way to turning point 3 (haven't watched part 2). I shall prepare myself mentally

The idea is to establish each variable of the summoning circle. What and Where. She's establishing the what at the moment. From a Living Thing (animal), what kind (cat), more specific (siamese). Then work on the where. I think the way of adjusting the where may be found by what is brought back. Breeds, cultivated plants, insects, or written language on objects. Sort of my conclusion I drew.

Rudy is just being a responsible husband and brother. Norm is being immature and selfish here. What if Rudy dies while trying to save his mom? The message is way to vague for Rudy to know what is required to save his mother. He could have attempt to link up with Ruijerd and Badigadi to aid him in this quest.

It feels like there was a lot of emptiness in certain scenes, it’s like that feeling of there probably was something there that needed to be mentioned but the anime chose not to mention rather than it feeling like it all fits seamlessly in the anime and there is definitely no cut content. But it could just be because I read the novel that I feel that way. I wish I could’ve watched the anime first instead of reading all those years ago sigh

Diaper is how it was described in the Light Novels. Anime does look like a chastity belt and in a sense that's what it is. It allows Elinalise to remain faithful and still live. Cliff is one heck of a guy!
