The scene/image that always stuck to me most was Norn standing between Paul and Rudy with her arms wide protecting Paul. It was both endearing but also gut wrenching.

this is why I love mushoku tensei, even though Rudeus is trash, Rifujin knows how to write heroism and adventure, and the journey to maturity

@@justpassingbye Or perhaps a new option. The two of them together would have changed the location from Zenith's original spot in the crystal. Now it's up to Zenith to take care of her daughter as she figured out what she should do.

Interesting, I am reading the light novels but started from the novel that matched the end of the first season so I missed some of this background. Some of it was implied in the later books but great to have fleshed out.

The best thing about books is you tend to get way more detail the manga or anime can give. Always good to start from the beginning. You also get a lot of good stuff from rudy training with roxy and chapters from specific characters perspectives like roxy, zenith, paul and lydia
