Turning Isolation Into Opportunity!

On this episode, I take a moment to address our current situation and throw my own hat into the ring when it comes to advice for these odd times. It’s hard to spend days, weeks, or months on end at home, but there are things that we can do to make the most of it!

As a creative; whether you’re a college student who creates as a hobby and looks to it as a future profession, or you work part-time and spend your spare time freelancing or creating, or if you’re a full-time freelancer-many of us are being given a potential opportunity right now-an opportunity to teach ourselves new skills and grow as individuals.
Freelancing takes a certain type of person: someone who is driven to learn and apply new skills, and specifically someone who finds no trouble seeking out knowledge, soaking it all up, and turning around and applying it, without help from anyone else. So, my advice is to embrace this difficult, yet rewarding part of freelancing in these weird times. Check out audible and find a book that can teach you something useful or give you a new perspective, find weaknesses in your abilities and sure them up with online tutorials, do whatever you can to make this time a time for self-progress. Because progress and growth, I’ve learned, is a great way to stay sorta sane.
