Omg you two!!!! I Fucking love you both. You are so awesome together. It was so cool to see your dynamic, knowing what I know about your journies. Thank you for being open, vulnerable and sharing like you did/do. Dez, you are so gorgeous. Cody, you know you are yummy dawg. 😊 I am 57, Dez. To hear that is how old your mom was staggering. We have both lost our mom's and that is a hole that I believe will never be filled. Love you both. I am so glad you get to do life together.

That was so insightful hearing Dez's story. I also have a history of comfort eating but so much more mental health stuff and ways of thinking that have stymied my progress in the past. I'm slowly getting there but as Dez said, I'll never not crave (my equivalent of) cupcakes, but mental health and stress really take its toll on how you treat your body as a whole.

WOW!! What a SMALL world. I have KNOWN Dezi since 1994. In fact I used to live with her and her family when she was a small girl.

Im sorry about your mums passing Dez. I lost my mum to cancer aswell. It is a brutal illness and it strikes without mercy. My mum was healthy and fit and she still didnt have a chance. I have survived 2 different cancers myself. 1st in my throat and 2nd also leukemia. Cancer dont care what size or shape you are. However, it changes the way you look upon life and what actually matters just like you say. Whatever you do, make sure every second counts. I enjoyed this podcast a lot. Im happy for you both that you found love within your friendship. I wish nothing but the best for you two.
