The Atlantic Ocean divides us, that's good because I would buy any chest of drawers. I wish you many interesting projects.
Catch me by surprise every time 😵
Love your ideas! And I really like that you don’t talk over the whole process but keep it informative with the subtitles. Makes your channel different from the others!

I agree, and I also like that there's no annoying background music. Just the sound of the work. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

unbelievably wonderful work. The drawers look completely "real". As an old architect, I have seen hundreds of these old cabinets, this is the first one I have seen that was not orange from the shellac and varnish. None have legs, I guess because they get so heavy, that loaded with plans would be HEAVY. You never cut a corner in craftsmanship, but your design sense is impeccable as well. The tonal difference at the end was a heck of a nice touch. Thanks for doing things the RIGHT way.

Most of these were made of metal very very early. Since the drawings are legal documents, they worried about fire. Frank Lloyd Wright although innovative, made allot of stupid mistakes. He was sued many times, these drawings and specs were center stage in court.

probably also real cabinet would be heavy also from all the wood required to create all those thin drawers.

One reason for later problems is that he experimented with new building materials. Falling Water is a prime example of the early use of concrete and its subsequent problems. It’s not held up well.

@@melindaostergren8115 That is the one in PA, I think. Wright evidently had engineers and other architects screaming and warning him of the dangers. Falling Waters is a basic fiasco, but Wright was too busy making a name for himself and entirely too egotistical. He did implement new concepts that others would later employ in more practical ways. He was part of a general trend in those days, so hard to tell if he was just stealing ideas from others.

I used to browse catalogs with the thin drawers for oversized drawings or printouts. The components were modular. The base was a separate unit the drawers could be bought as one or two units and stacked. A separate top could be added. Have seen them sometimes used as a twin/single bed base in an office which could be a guest room. For that setup two bases, two drawer units and a cut plywood top worked.
I'm binge watching your videos. Your wood working skills are incredible & your video editing is equally amazing. Good enough to be on your own TV show. Thank you - I'm learning so much. My skills, confidence & standards are so much higher thanks to these videos! Please don't stop making them. :)

Thank you so much Charlotte! 🙏🏻😁
The dividers and using lemon stain to get rid of the old wood smell. #showpiece for sure
here U R... Thinking of you yesterday and wondering when the next amazing video will show up and here u R...Glad to see you again!
Master craftsman remakes wood furniture with phenomenal results. Pushes them around on a rickety wheeled platform that appears to be 100 years old.
This was incredible! I don't know which is better. Your furniture flipping or your video and editing skills! You are officially my new favorite flipper.

☝ ... 👏
I've watched a bunch of your videos now. Beyond the re-imagining and repurposing you do of pieces, I am an absolute fan of how you never seem to let anything go to waste. Socks, old cushions, any random piece of wood or metal from an old project... you're always using things that other people would throw away. Its completely commendable. And your work is also beautiful.
I love your style
I want, I want! Send it to Denmark, please ;o) Beautiful work, Mate!
A true Craftsman gorgeous
This is a really terrific looking rethinking of such a plain piece. You're a bit of a genius on the creativity.
Stunning workmanship,,,,, beautiful beautiful beautiful
Those drawer dividers are far nicer than what would have come installed on a factory made piece of furniture. 💕♥️💕
Wow ❤
Dude, you are so talented!
That looks a million dollars. Fantastic.
I am not sure what I enjoy most, your excellent skill or your equally impressive sense of humour ! My wife even loves to see your channel and she is not into woodwork. Keep them coming Andy.
I deeply appreciate that most of the time, when you are able, you respect the wood and do not paint it. It is so sad to see people cover up beautiful wood with paint. When the damage is too great and you do, it is tasteful and that is not the case with many "rennovators". Good Job!
I look forward to your videos. So impeccable.
beautiful once again.
This is a piece of art!!!
A simple perfection 👌

You rescued that piece of furniture. Clever idea.
That dark stain in the ridges to help sell the illusion was inspired. Such a gorgeous piece and phenomenal craftsmanship. Put this on to listen to/watch while I worked before I realized it wasn't narrated like the rest 😂 definitely didn't get work done during.
Speechless. Subscribed.
Wow, what a beauty! You are very creative!

Beautiful
I was not expecting it to end up looking like that. Amazing eyes for detail.
Simply art! Another art!!!
I’ve watched this before. But still love seeing it again.
Fabulous! Another gorgeous makeover! x
Not only is the furniture restoration beautiful, so is the video editing!
Miriam Meyers: Charles Sullivan, Frank Lloyd Wright's mentor, said "form follows function" which is exactly what transformed here 🤓
I really liked the partitions, this furniture was beautiful
I love the tone variation in the stain!
Bravo!!!!! Another job well done! Looking forward to more from you.....
Wow, another incredible transformation! Just beautiful work, thank you for sharing.
Wow. You are unbelievably talented. Beautiful work.
Dude !!! I’m speechless!! The skill … the craftsmanship! … the aesthetics… just phenomenally executed.
Hi, great project. Love the finish, thanks for sharing.
You're very creative. It looks way better than before! Great work.
Good job, kid. A lot better than these other "furniture flippers" I've been watching.
Beautifully done! I love that you took the time in restoring and also making it even more amazing and made dividers. Too many flippers are just painting furniture because it’s easy. Thank you for making that old dresser absolutely stunning!
The stain on this is fabulous. You did a fantastic job as always!!!
wowowowow gorgeous work!!!! love the practice of bringing new life to old furniture :^) when you work outside, do you ever worry about lil buggies getting stuck in the clear coat??
