dangit, they should bring back a big bear 350. Would be absolutely awesome. I have a Moto-4 350 and whatever I do I can't break it. Yamaha needs a 350cc Utility quad back.
NICE!!! SAME AS MINE!!! 1997 big bear 350 SE model. SE means its a special edition it has a kodiak 400 frame with big bear 350 guts.

I had 8 of these 350cc and 400 the cheapest I bought was 120£ these quads are beasts .
what was the mix for the shine on the platic?
I bought a 1997 big bear 350 I am going to try to clean it up. I am 74 (a great grandma) but I have fun doing this - so wish me luck! :-)

what did you use to bring the colour back on the plastic also did u have to sand down the plastic?

I used the old boiled linseed oil and paint thinner. I have a video where I show more depth on how to bring the color back in the plastic with this method and if really bad with a heat gun. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pGais5Kic9SqaMY.html

Does anybody know where the serial number for the rear diff is on the 1998 big bear 350 4wd? I have ordered the All Balls Racing rear diff seal and bearing kit from Partzilla and it has the wrong bearing. I sent it back and they sent another and it still has the wrong bearing. I talked to someone at All Balls Racing and he says that it is the right bearing. He thinks that the previous owner replaced the rear diff with one from different model. I don't think so because when I bought it, it was only 5-6years old so I don't think it was. I am trying to get in touch with the guy I bought it from but that was 18 years ago. I found on the Yamaha website what the serial number is for the rear diff but not where the serial number is. I can't see, I am going to try to clean it up some more and see if I can find it but any help would be appreciated.
