I have a time saving suggestion for you as a fellow shoes customizer. Shrink wrap your shoes before you put tape on. Carefully take a exacto knife and cut out the area you are going to work on but make the hole about two millimeters larger all the way around the area you are removing, then add your tape which will be half stuck to the shoe and half stuck to the shrink wrap. Now you are masked up and the entire shoe is protected. When you finish a section you can reapply the shrink wrap you removed earlier to cover the hole. The shoe is still fully wrapped and continue on from there. It may not seem like a big deal but over the course of my workdays this simple trick can save me almost 45 minutes of taping time and the shoes are always fully protected especially from the oils on your fingers.

He's already showing you how he does it, you can try doing it yourself, all you have to do is practice and you'll get better every time, then people will want you to give them your custom sneakers!

I started yellowing midsoles with oxyclean. It was accidental at first. But it worked to give the shoes an aged look yet still clean. I would put a thin paste and let sit for a few days.

Got these creased shattered backboards going for 160 at the thrift shop near my house, my friends gonna buy them and were gonna uncrease them and resell prob

the whole process is 100% on point.. quality in this custom is 100%... the only problem is, the actual SBB 1.0 has soooo much better quality overall, so whilst this custom is super dope, it makes it kinda look like a fake SBB 1.0, only because the real thing is just waayyy better. So nothing to do with this custom, but more to do with the real pair.

This is my first time painting over a different color. I’ll ask my client to keep wearing them and see the durability. As far as I know, as long as the material is prepped properly and sealed with a varnish, it’ll last a long time.
