@@AleSuggests Absolutely! Curious - what are your thoughts on the Kensington Orbit Fusion Wireless Trackball? I love the vertical + trackball concept but not sure about how bad that “thumb fatigue” could get. Would love yours thoughts on it! Or even better - another comparison video 😎

Hey thanks so much for pointing this out. I have somehow missed that Kansington had released new stuff. I'll try and fix that with a review/comparison video of the new Orbit Fusion soon (already in the mail 😎). Although, I'm afraid you are actually referring to the Kensington Pro Fit Ergo (it looks like they've released 2 new similar wireless TBs this year). Sadly, I'm not a big fan of thumb trackballs, so I'll skip that one at the moment. Sorry about that and thanks again for the suggestion ;) P.s. in my honest opinion thumb trackballs aren't as fast and comfortable as trackballs with the ball in the centre, but this is all very subjective. So the best thing would be to try out both of you can.

@@AleSuggests That’s exactly what I meant! 😁 Thanks so much for your time and insight, so much appreciated! Ps: Ended up staying with the Slimblade. Unfortunately the Orbit’s precision wasn’t good enough for my line of work and the Expert’s scroll wheel was a bit too loudly stressful 😂

The Orbit is perfect if you use a self-made 25cm x 15cm x 2cm cotton cushion filled with wool cuttings. I've used the same one, daily for approx 5 years.

Yeah I bet it is. The Orbit is just calling for a softer cushion than the one that Kensington build for. Thanks for the tip ;)

@@AleSuggests Here's another tip: Remove all the rubbers on the bottom and replace with a sticky-back, cut-to-shape felt pad (3mm thick). Cover the whole bottom, but cut out a hole (1 cm diameter) so you can still push out the ball for cleaning. This enables the mouse to slide, allowing you to assume a more comfortable position when you place your arm on the cushion. This makes it also easier to push the mouse away, when you need the space.

I'm about to buy my first trackball. Mainly because injuries that bother me using normal one. Do you think that orbit it's enough big for large hands (21-22cm)? I would also buy the cushion

If you suffered from injuries, then perhaps I'd rather suggest you to watch my latest trackball comparison video (expert vs orbit fusion) and pick one of those two mice. My chart in terms of comfort is so far: - Expert - Orbit Fusion - Orbit + Hama Cushion Pad The Orbit + Cushion Pad should give you a much better relief than a normal mouse, but you may find it a bit small and you might eventually upgrade at some point. If you wanna say bye bye to mouse pain forever (hopefully), I'd say get an Expert. The wired version is always around for cheap second hand. Let me know what you choose and thanks for passing by ;)

@@AleSuggests Thank you for the extended reply. I watched the video yes. The thing is that fusion isnt ambidextrous so I couldnt try it with my left in case I want to. Im not like critical injuried, but because sports I have bad right shoulder/arm. I have noticed that the discomforts comes by moving the mouse on the pad after some time, thats why I want to try a trackball. Lol now im a bit comfused about which choose. From reading/watching reviews, I assumed that Orbit would be the best for a "beginner" and for what im looking for. But now I think about what you saying, that maybe ill upgrade it so ill end having 2 mouses and more money spent. In one hand, Expert its way more expensive... but in the other hand, now im doubting if the Orbit would end being a bit small I'll tell you what I choose for sure haha Thank you again for the info! edit: Other "cons" that im not sure about is the scroll wheel of the Expert

It may be a bit too tall for the Expert. Perhaps you could buy some high density foam and carve it yourself? It should be cheap

The Expert. Simply because the ball of the Orbit is a little too high. But please mind, this is a personal opinion

The scroll wheel in this mouse is way smoother than the expert mouse but is too small...they should use that kind of ring in the expert mouse as the scroll wheel feels flimsy and is noisy
