"Turn Your Childoon Into A TTRPG!" - Dude, that's what I've been trying to do my entire career :) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Teenage Mutant Tunnel Goons and Outbreak of the Anamoids! My favorite of your releases so far. Keep up the awesome work!

This is very cool. Right after I got into D&D in the 80's, I discovered the TMNT rpg, *before* it became a popular kids' property, and I got into the original b&w comic because of it. One of the features I liked was if you created a group of characters with the same origin, they got shared abilities and iirc, a bonus for the synergy. I have to correct one thing tho. You didn't just use a "regular old ink pen." You used the Pilot G2, one of the best pens ever made.

I love it all, esp. the character sheet with the special punch. Go crazy, you're brilliant, embrace your inner "Mad Scientist!"

Man, novo aqui no seu canal.

@@JPCoovert Although the mechanics might seem a bit crunchy (tho' essentially it's just a d20 [D&D style] combat system, with d100 Call of Cthulhu skill resolution), the TMNT Character Creation is well worth checking out. It's like a mini game all by itself. After some random dice rolls on some mutation background tables, you get all kinds of strangeness from man-sized, psychic elephant detectives to flying ninja squirrels, or a Canadian professional wrestler moose. As you can probably tell, I'm looking forward to the rerelease as well!! Definitely loving what you've done with this easy hack. Seems like a great idea for a one-shot in Halloween costumes!😁🎃

Yes, I do that too: running nostalgia-powered RPG settings using a favorite or genera-appropriate rule system, but with the serial numbers filed off to make things easier and freer as you are not constrain to established characters and events and you can add your own elements. For me, it is mashed-up Thundar the Barbarian/Kamandi/Masters of the Universe, etc. using Gamma World and/or Mutant Future (I go ham with those games). It is G.I.Joe/A-Team/Bronze Bombers using Dogs of W.A.R. It is early '80s anime mecha war fiction (Dougram, VOTOMS, Xabungle, etc.) with Battletech or Heavy Gear. Star Wars/Battlestar Galactica/Buck Rogers using Mini-Six or whatever pulp sci-fi/fantasy system strikes my fancy at the moment. On that note, I cannot play a cyberpunk setting without it looking Mabel Pines levels of '80s, as God intended.

Amazing! Love how deep you go, down to action figure accessory trays and the Kevin Eastman-like shading on the artwork. I know, it may not be intentional but it certainly gives it the feel. I'm tempted to do my own and go all Heavy Metal. You know, Taarna, Fakk2 and the Major Boobage episode of South Park.

Next up we need JP's take on Thundercats and Silverhawks and for deepcuts Tigersharks. The holy trinity of 80s toons. I could go on and on with awesome 80s toy commercials... I mean cartoons. haha

I love your energy! And you inspired me to draw my own fantasy maps as I never thought possible (with one of your other videos). But now I wanted to let you know of a pretty similar TTRPG I had the pleasure of trying out recently: Secret Science Sewer Siblings. 😄 I think you might enjoy that too. It also felt like an episode of TMNT! 🐢🥷 Thanks for your inspiring work!

I have been on the fence about buying the TMNT mini set, but now I have to. I'm going to play this game with my Nephews and use those minis. It's odd that don't just have the digital file for this game available for purchase on your shop though. I realize you have it available on Petreon, but you would probably sell a little more if you had this available just to purchase as a PDF
