i have a 2016 gti se pp 2dr 6mt. eqt custom tune revision 7, vortex xl, pr 925cc mpi, eqt 5bar sensors, lpfp, ie v2 intake, cts inlet, turbosmat dv, arm tmd, arm charge pipes, arm fmic, dkm stg2 clutch, stainless clutch hose, bleeder block, 2 step colder brisk plugs, custom made coil ground kit, hf catted dp, magnaflow exhaust no muffler, soloworks coilovers, ecs weighted shift knob, aerofab spoiler ext, maxton splitter, bmp led dynamic headlights, 8" screen upgrade, rear diffuser add on. plus tons more and boxes of extras and 3 sets of wheels. i love this car tons. love your videos man.

You're making it hard for me to stick with my IS38.... lol I'm so close to ordering a Vortex Std. My only issues is, I need to redo my entire fueling. Swap to MPI and get a LPFP. Money money money. Money I do not have.... story of my life haha

Just got my EQT tmap and put sensors today lol. Slowly building to the Vortex XL. Got the MPI 1300cc kit in yesterday. Next LPFP. And then turbo.

Just snagged these becuase of you, thanks! Excited for my Vortex XL to finally get installed on my 2016 GTI before the end of the year! (Update: It RIPS!!) I got everything else, every pipe, tube, pump, mpi, all of it except built internals, should be a fun time judging by all your vids! I don't post though, starting to think I should... Cheers.

If everything goes right I’m going to get EQT’s zero to hero kit with Vortex Standard…at least that’s my plan..lol

Is this specifically for modded turbo's etc or is this another option to a JB4? Always dig yr stuff even if it's just you driving around BTW. Would love to see you get into MC's, I might have a slim chance of keeping up. LOL

Upgraded TMAP & PUT sensors are for hybrid or larger turbos. You cannot run these with a JB4. You COULD run them with an IS20/IS38 w/ a proper protune. But it's pointless since neither really supply that kind of flow. Especially the IS20.

New clutch cuz the Sachs SRE not gonna hold 🫡

If I have still the stock IS20, the 5 bar sensor is pretty useless ?

Must be exhaust, that blocked off perforated pipe in the stock muffler is a restritcion.

Need a protune. And a hybrid or larger turbo. IS20 & IS38 do not flow enough to warrant these sensors.

I'm currently running a APR DTR 6054 turbo with tune. I have a EQT custome tune ready for my set up. I guess I need to know if I can run these sensors on my current protune

@@anthonymcclelland8433 yeah they should work. Assuming the DTR needs them. Something to talk with EQT on. They can answer this question and tell you if your DTR stands to benefit from them or not. You will need to get your current protune adjusted to account for such if you do get them.

Yes, you need to be tuned for the sensors. Do not install them if your tuner didn’t tune for them already.
