I have a Ricoma MT 1501 and a Ruby 90 husqvarna Viking embroidery/sewing machine. Need much help and slowly coming along. Thank God for You tube University and I thank God for you Romero. You are truly a Blessing.

thank you for such good content. I use PE design and Corel Draw. When you talk about layers and order f operation. That's exactly what we were taught to do in art classes to prepare a canvas for painting.

Wow! In such a short video I have learned so much. I'm not a digitizer - I provide embroidery but I like to know a little about what it is you do as a digitizer. I have a question though, when a design is sent to a digitizer how would I know they are not reselling the design?

Hi, I have a customer that is wanting me to make them some patches for their company shirts. It's been several months since I last made them some. And now my laptop that I had the design saved on is no longer working. I have it saved as a jpeg file but I don't know how to turn it into an embroidery file. I use pes format and an older version of the Pe Design, 5.0. Could you help me, please? Thank you.

Yes, you need to create the stitches using a digitizing software.

Would it be possible to use already pixelated patterns or alpha patterns to do the custom patches I would like to try?

Yes, It may work. Its all about testing out the fabric.

A charge for a png file to be converted to a DST file?

You would have to send it to a digitizer, so they can convert your image into dst embroidery file (called digitizing). They usually charge around $20 us.

dear Romero - I'm following you already for quite some time; I have a question regarding this video; at around 5.20min. you make an outline around the background and make it a fill stitch. Now I'm working on the Bernina software but cannot find this tool to outline in a way you do. Do you know by any change how this works at the Bernina software? - thanks for your replay! Carel
