Turkish Navy Officially Welcomes Its New Flagship, TCG Anadolu
It's being called the world's first drone carrier. Commissioned on Monday, the TCG Anadolu, which began construction in 2016, was built mostly with domestic parts. It will also be equipped with the country's latest UAVs, the TB3 Bayraktar drones. The multi purpose assault ship, is expected to play a vital role in Türkiye's maritime security, espeically in the heavily contested eastern Mediterraean.

Turkiye militarily will only going stronger day by day & so do the economy once Akkuyu NPP operational plus Black Sea gas start flowing coupled with internal spending on domestic TOGG couple with massive infrastructure post quake recovery. There more things coming soon.

It's a drone carrier now because since Turkey was kicked out from f35 project, there is no carrier borne aircraft available.

she was first designed to operate f35s. then the gov converted it into so-called 'drone carrier' since they could get no f35. she is expected to operate drones two years later though. anyways she is beautiful and she will operate f35s besides drones very soon.

Search the Iranian drone carrier unveiled 3 years ago. I have visited both Iran and Turkey. Iranians are under media boycott but Turkey is a topic for advertising in global media. Just ask yourself, despite of good relations between Russia and Turkey, why Russia doesnt trust Turkey drones? Building an air defense system like S400 is much easier than building a drone carrier, but why buying Russian S400 by Turkey makes Turks that much happy? you see? it's paradoxical. The smart audience knows Turkey just montages western made military products.

@@pana.2994 If Built on the Base logic of Juan Carlos but in terms of usage, Technology & weapons far from being a copy of the Spanish LHC plus it was built in Turkiye and knowledge transfer done and it was only 30% Spanish assitance while 70% Local Turkish pvt firms general knowledge that for any product if it has +50% new tech then it's not even an added value not to mention but a complete new one guess that this baby has 70% difference than Juan Carlos they only match in base design
