mitch lippmann He peobably isn't that fluent in English. And probably a bit tense because of it. Besides, people in this sort of a work have their own sense of humour in Turkey. Not to mention the diffuculty of getting the jokes in a language you don't comprahend quick enough
I'm so early watching this video that there aren't even Middle Eastern and Balkan people fighting in the comment section yet

Im a German/Turkish guy, i think no one should fight over food, instead be happy that we share the same love for food, and not discuss where it came from. Good Appetite /Afiyet Olsun/ Guten Apetit

Istanbul is a good restaurant but if you are still in London may I recommend trying Hala in Harringay Green Lanes. The only place that I know of that does not include doner meat in its mixed grill. Another dish worth trying is Sarma Beyti (lamb not chicken) . It's a pleasure watching your videos.

herptyderpty It has a number of really good places to get Turkish food within short walking distance from one another. Prices are fairly low as well due to the competition.

If you want original non commercial Turkish charcoal Kebab, go to either Umut 2000 (Dalston or Green Lanes), Durumcu Ali Baba (Enfield, Green St) This is where you will find original Turkish Kebab.. non of that commercial restaurants in Green Lanes most people who are not turkish would go to lol
I have yet to find a Turkish restaurant like this anywhere on the west coast of the USA or Canada. Had this in London years ago and miss this type of Turkish food so much.

rotitelor and much worse they sell Turkish doner kebab the original one as greek gyro or mexican taco el pastor lmao, in Europe Turks are very nationalists its nearly impossible to sell Doner kebab as gyro here escpecially in Germany, Belgium,Netherlands

I love your show!! I'll never be able to go to these places but I can experience it through your show. It would be nice to see this restaurant in the U.S..
That food looks amazing.
looks a lot tastier than the jellied eels!
That restaurant is up the street from my dad's business! Definitely must check it out the next time I'm in London!
That looked amazing
Good job, Lucas! Not that you need a random internet stranger to tell you good job, but it is a fact that you are. Keep it up!
Got to eat more Turkish food.
OMG that meat platter! That looks amazing
I'd recommend Kervan Sofrasi in Wood Green. Probably the best Turkish food I've had in London. Or even 'Capital', which is a 2 minute walk from Kervan.
OPRF?! High school shirts are always classic. I didn't go there, but I'm from the area and have friends who did. We played you guys every once in a while in sports out of district.
We need to give a huge menu really huge for turkish cuisine . We didn't tasted yet and even many turks don't know they name yet
Hi Lucas! Much love! 😍😘
Started watching Westworld and was surprised to see you pop up lol.
London has one of the best Turkish restaurants in the world
That meat platter looks amazing.
Great show
this look so delicious i'll need to find a turkish restaurant near me
We do have that horizontaly placed some type of doner kebab called cag kebab.
Aw I just love Turkish food.
I’ve noticed there’s not a single mention of the Ayran there? I guess you're not a fan of it Lucas 😛

Lucas was actually a huge fan of it, we just didn't have time to talk about it on camera! He was a bit on the fence with the Şalgam, he was surprised it was as salty and spicy as it was.

we need one restaurant like this one in Barcelona ohhhh my my
i love Turkey❤❤
I drove my missus up to birmingham recently to get some decent turkish food. There are great turkish eateries all over there. Would really recommend looking to birmingham if you don't want to pay london prices.

Welcome to Dalston! x
Rare meat might not be common in modern Turkish cuisine, but it was certainly a thing in older Turkic cuisine. Eating raw meat wasn't unheard of either.
Im Türkish but I like my meat done rare for like steaks and low connective tissue cuts but like cuts like kaburga (ribs) I like it well done because it builds a nice smokey charcoal flavor.
May I recommend trying out gokyuzu it's probably the best turkish restaurant in london
i think this is a great place!
How many dimes did the meal cost?
Turkish cuisine rocks !!!!
to all my eater friends, this "horizantal rotating lamb" of doner is a different kind of vertical rotating one (at 5:45) . Meat/fat ratio, spices and preperations are different. So nobody think this horizantal lamb kebab to put on vertical in Turkey. Video is awesome, i just wanted to put a information here with my poor English.
Turkish cuisine is the best cuisine in the world
That meat plater looks freaking delicious
You guys should do Denver as one of the seasons!
Greetings from Turkey! *heavily breathing after seeing the title*
peppers, onion, parsley, _police siren_
Have you tried hummus?
Go and try Umut 2000s Lamb ribs, around the corner from that place.
There is a Turnib Salgham on the table which is one of the best salgham in the country. I like hot spicy version
Turks food is amazing....
Lucas are you still in London? You should totally do a London meetup if you are there are loads of people where who would love to say hi to you and give you a hug :)
Lucas reppin the OPRF!
You should try Kokoreç if you can find it there it's so rare
Hope you got a doggie bag Lucas! Looks awesome
wow u guys are going to some rough areas of london. dalston and brixton for example but its where the best food is. i reccomend going to a jamaican joint next episode.

The look on Lucas face when she says she has a boyfriend is hilarious.
This can't be dine on a dime....that starter plates are all I need, lol
Hey everybody! Peace Hey Eater! Peace
I think that I would like Turkish style meat because I love meat well done.
Baba Ganoush usually looks like cat barf, but tastes very nice.
My favourite Turkish dish is iskender ad another good Turkish restaurant in London is fora in the city I actually reviews it you should check it out
I like how he only uses his hands to eat
repping the OPRF shirt!
Those type of foods, tasty but slighty expensive
Lucas, since you are in the UK are you going to campaign for PM too?
