WOW, lots of work done and it still looks the same.... lol.... Well, maybe it's not a lot of work done... Made a few changes and we are getting closer, but this Turbocharged BBC still has a long ways to go.... But today, I show you how to adjust the a powerglide shifter cable. This is important to keeping your transmission healthy and in good condition.

People got so much to say when they are not doing the work. It’s so easy to beat on a keyboard. It’s his car and he can do what he wants and how he wants to do things. Just say positive things geez. Good job John thanks for bringing us along for the ride. Always learning something along the way

Nice job TJohn! That's great working on the race car at Home!🤩🤩💪💪
The nicest ride you’ve had don’t start hacking it together at the very end

I'm just glad you know how to adjust the shifter, Anton gets pretty aggravated when people call him about the transmission being messed up and the shifter is all outta wack that caused it to go out,
I don't always read comments, but when I do. It reminds me of how rude people are when you're not looking them in the eyes.. Build this car to suit you and no one else! Here for the experience of following along. We do this stuff everyday. Work all day. Watch others work half the night. Oh,,, but the love of racing we share, is what brought us here.....

🎉🎉 THANKS AGAIN 👍 GOD BLESS ALL 🎉🎉 TJ FTW
I’m a bit concerned that the Powerglide will handle the extra power of the big block. Time will tell! 🤞
T.J. Great job, on the shifter bracket!

Thanks 👍. I like it!
I just did my turbo 400 and it sucked getting under and up about a million times. Your so lucky to have a exposed transmission!
I think that's the first carbon fiber transmission I've ever seen that is pretty cool... Ballin on a budget huh😅 LoL 😁😂😂

Looking good. The fuel filter should be the pump. This way if you have any thing in the tank, it does not go through the pump or can run 2 filter
@TurboJohnRacing
Ай бұрын
We don’t run pre pump filters usually. The volume a mechanical pump flows, pre pump filter can cause issues.

Don’t rush the process, the build started of really nice. But by the looks of it you are rushing. Beter to do things right the first time.

Can you do a video and talk about the midplate? And is there anything you need to do? Because now you have a spacer in there using a midplate is that okay? Without anything extra. Do you have to shim something? Because of that quarter inch in between the block and the transmission or what?
@TurboJohnRacing
Ай бұрын
The Saturn had a .125 mid plate, this one is .250. Just have to put more shim between the converter and flex plate.
Are you going to have to upgrade your fuel system because of the big block?
@TurboJohnRacing

To start. I’m doing the same. The pump is 13.3gpm, it can support 2000hp pretty easy.
This car had hope in the begining of the built looking nice and all, now its hard to watch the butchery of finishing it😳

😂, stick around it will get more hackery! I’m not a pro, and will gladly accept your funds to pay a pro to finish it? You down???????? Didn’t think so! I cannot afford to pay a pro shop to do the entire car. End of story……
