I honestly don't feel that this was a fair battle. You can tell that the Vette driver was unfamiliar with the road by choppy throttle and conservative line. Which I can respect, because why risk it when you are just having fun. The Miata is another story. He clearly knew every inch of that road and used it all👏👏👍

Between the Miata being in its natural habitat and the beautiful LS sounds, good video 🤙🏻 Even in a stock Miata, I’d lose sight of anyone behind me on twisties, didn’t matter what is was. But now, soon, I’m adding power to keep up with the “boring” straight cars lol

@@LoLreality1 same. i'm usually in the back when i drive with my friends that have more modern cars because I'm slow, 1990 1.6. always a widening gap on the straights, but when the corners come I wish they'd go faster, lmao. If it's a downhill curvy road, especially, or a curvy road with limited uphill, I'll go in front and completely lose sight and sound of them. hilarious how they make fun of me for being slow then I nihilate them on the exciting roads

Love the "natural habitat" comment. couldn't agree more. the vette is not as nimble. I own an almost stock (150hp) 97 miata and have had vettes. Miata's EAT curves 😎😎😎

Dope video bro, that z06 makes music for my ears. Boosted Miatas are just unmatched on a twisty canyon run tho, so light and nimble. Quick unsolicited input: try to hold the steering wheel at 3&9. You mostly do so, but change on many turns where you could’ve kept them. Keep up the content man, much love ✌🏼

Who's ISF was that 👀 I used to have an 08 C6Z06 and a 2011 ISF (some ISF Races on my channel). Currently looking at a 2013 Z06 with the Z07 package! Hopefully I get it because i do miss that car as well as my ISF haha

Try to be more smooth on the throttle and and jab it. Drive it out out the corner. Smoothie fast! Way too choppy and you are upsetting the suspension.

My favorite part was when the miata kicked everythings ass for like 10 minutes.. if the guy wasnt going slow in front of him that vette would never have seen him again.. turbo or not you can only go so faat through a corner .

The Z06 was barely getting on it the entire time. I own a c6 Z06 and the way he was driving it was casually quick. He could have gone way harder. He was giving it 20-25% if that

I just purchased a C6 GS and owned a 230whp turbo miata and my GS will smoke that miata, it is a fun car but they are from different worlds, Go get a set of Michelins and roll

Absolutely the wrong kind of car for that sort of driving. The horsepower can’t overcome the huge weight except in straightaways.
