Bro nice car? I have an ls2 with loudmouths I live in cali so I wouldn’t do headers but do you think if I delete the resonators that come with the exhaust it’ll be louder? One side got disconnected once and it sounded amazing

Deleting the resonators will definitely help with volume. Also it shouldn't give you any problems regarding emissions too

That sounds fantastic for being a catback only! What bullets/resonators were used? Edit : It has longtubes too.

It does have long tubes, so it's a full 3" inch from the headers back. It has a pair of speed engineering resonators is all

@@ScottO84 Very similar volume wise. Tone is different tho, the tone on the NPP is definitely more raspy. This has a deeper tone. Also this is louder at idle than the NPP. Honestly the NPP is already fantastic, but just knowing it was an extra 60lbs made me wanna replace it. The new 4.5 inch tips are pretty sweet too

TPS long tubes and cat-less X-pipe. Full 3 inch fab from the header back with a speed engineering axle back

Are you able to pull the axle back off being welded like that?

Yes, there's actually a v band right over the axle now. I shouldn't even have to drop the sway bar like before

Far as I’m concerned, you can have a cat back exhaust in Cali, but as long as the headers, and catalytic stay in the vehicle, you should be fine. That’s what I did with my old Evo for a while and never had an issue.

The Grandsport is basically a Z06 with a Dry sump LS3, so what your hearing is a LS3!

So how horrible is the drone with this setup? The axle back you have is the speed engineering bullet style Right?

Correct, it's been fabbed on there so the location may vary. There is a little bit of drone, but nothing unbearable. The deeper note is great

@@CamMarz good to hear I just ordered the whole speed engineering kit headers back. I have a muffler delete right now on a stock car and it drones on the highway not real bad but I’m guessing it’s gonna get much worst lol
