Turbo LS Head stud installation
Speedmaster Head studs, always lightly oil the threads. The studs can be torqued with oil to lube the washers/nuts or you can use a Moly Lube on the washers/nuts like the ARP lube.
Here’s the 3 step torque for each lubricant:
ARP Moly Lube 30# 50# 70#
Oil only 30# 60# 75#
*** Engine oil doesn’t lubricate as well as the Moly Lube, therefore the frictional difference results in the Max torque +5 ftlb. The main point is to use the 3 stage torque method. 👍

Good job
Did you apply any moly lube to the treads going into the block or just the washer. Mine came with no instructions . thanks keep up the good work sir
I know this video is a bid older but ARP install card gives a final torque of 100 ft.lbs.
I heard its best to go 15 ft lbs in between from JE pistons.
Would it fit 2003 Cadillac Escalade or would it be the later models ?
Did you bottom those studs out or leave a little space in-between the block and bottom of the stud?
I did 30-60-90
How is your head studs holding up?
What oil are you using for break in??
Do they fit a 6.0 lq9?
Hey what’s the head stud part number?
