Pac was mistaken about that. A lot of people did copy him but hes reaching with cube.. Bow down wasn't an East Coast diss. That album In general was a diss to New York radios New York music critics.. pac had beef with rappers and streets dudes from New York.. cubes beef was with dude's in offices not street corners.. big difference.

But Pac's point was valid.. "Why you wasnt making em Bow Down while I was in jail"?.. "Why u wait till i get out, hear Hit em Up then start riding the beef wit the East wave"?.. Pac had real conflict with the Eastcoat, Cube was just trying to sell records.. He didnt want no war with NY like Pac did.. But also Pac (and other rappers) took a lot from Cube over the yrs.. Pac admitted he "mastered Cubes style".. So he couldn't be to mad at Cube for being influenced by him just like hes been influenced by NWA & Cube over the yrs.. lol.. Pac was just heated once he got out.. I feel like him & Cube would've patched this small shit up had he survived..

@@kwamekhnum9907 timing.. and when pac was in jail cube did do a song called " west up" And they did bow down as a diss to New York critics and radio not rappers or The Coast as a whole.. Plus Westside connection just did one song on wc album " the mad circle" They weren't gonna do albums as west side connection at first, it was just for one song but it came out so Good and worked they ended up working on the album.. They started working on it in 95.. it didn't come out till after pac came out.. That's why it didn't come out when he was in jail.. They were working on it.. Can't drop unfinished music.. if album ain't done u can't drop a album and cube is cube, ha wasn't working off pacs schedule " her dub c, Mack we need to hurry up with this album and drop it before pac gets out so he doesn't think we're copying him" 🤣 Didn't happen.. they were working on The album not even thinking about no pac.. they didn't give a f*** when pac got out or dropping Westside connection album before he gets out.. Pac just jumped the gun.. But if that's the argument u wanna use let's go all the way with it.. Pac copied cube.. Why wasn't pac making hit'em up before " no Vaseline"? ( ik why but do u get how dumb that sounds? 🤣 Pac wasn't beefin with Big during no Vaseline so he didn't make it.. timing was off. Just like Westside connection didn't form til 95.. rappers back then took a full year to drop a album.. that was the norm.. everything that came out in 96 was worked on in 95 Pac was already out. Was cube supposed to rush The album so pac and his fans don't think nothing? 🤣 Come on ..u gotta remember the Time period

Pac didn’t say “Bow Down” was an east coast diss. What he said was (to paraphrase) “I looked up to Ice Cube, I studied his style, mastered his shit, so I know what he doing is wrong! You can tell Ice Cube heard “Hit ‘Em Up”, and was like, “Oh, that’s how they’re doing it” So, now he’s switching up to the “war” shit. Why he wasn’t making ‘em “Bow Down” when I was in jail?! He’s using us, as the gauge, for how it’s supposed to be done and, if I let him do that, then that would make me obsolete… and I ain’t going for it… he can’t have this! (meaning, his position in the industry). He never said “Bow Down” was an east coast diss. He was referring to Cube biting his “Don” style, ie., Makaveli “The Don” / Ice Cube “The Don Mega”.

Jeru said "leave your 9s at home and bring your skills to the battle". Mack 10 responded with "bringing rhymes and 9s to the mothafuckin battle". On West Up Ice Cube said "The Sun Rises in the East, but it Sets in the West" Jeru's album was called The Sun Rises in the East. Ice Cube lead the real East vs West beef. Tupac's beef with Biggie was personal. Ice Cube was the real West Coast Warlord. I knew this as a teenager in the 90s in Chicago. I know my 90s West Coast Rap.

Pac was my all time favorite. However "pour out a little liquor" ain't nothing but a remixed "Dead homies" by Ice cube. All that suicidal stuff by Pac was probably influenced by Scarface. These rappers did it 1st. So I give credit where credit is due. In my opinion though Pac did it better. However Kill at will, and Amerikkk'as most wanted by cube those albums are classics. They helped lay down the blue prints for the biggies and 2pacs to follow.

Trying to act like every single rap artist that was known to 2Pac or had associated with him pretending to like him then dissing him because EVERY SINGLE ONE of them were jealous of him because he had more talent was a realist and his words seemed to touch the world that they all decided to turn on him all for what? To get the attention they so badly wanted when he was gone!? 2Pac lives on and none of you rap artist that disliked him will always feel the wrath of what 2Pac has left behind and that will always and forever be his music.
